Behold, God is my salvation.
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord Jesus Christ is my strength and my song.
He also has become my salvation.
I walked out in the morning of the springtime of my life
and I felt the wind of morning and I knew that God was there.
I heard the rolling thunder and saw the lightning flash
and I marveled at His awesome splendor.
I saw Him in the budding of the trees
and as the flowers began to bloom.
I watched the ants in their world and the way they lived their
lives and I saw His wisdom.
I watched the honey bee as they went about their work
and I saw in their understanding the work of God.
I watched the birds in the trees and I saw in their lives
the works of the Master.
I walked the dusty roads of August
and heard the sounds of summer
and knew that He was with me.
In the midst of a starry night I looked into the Heavens
and was amazed at the work of His hands.
I stood in September and saw the harvest –
His gift to mankind.
I stood in the time of autumn
and His face was in the blowing leaves.
I stood at last in the winter time of my life
and I knew that this was not the only life,
that in the worlds to come the love of our
Lord Jesus Christ will never fail.
Worlds without end.
Do not forget my children to look
at the world around you for
in it is the testimony of God.
