he Virginal Flaggers are still hard at work preserving history,Many of the citizens who stopask us what the occasion is are shocked to find out about the museum's violations of lawviolations of transfer agreements, the desecration of a War Memorial to our Virginia and

outhern soldiers, and the desecration of a place of worship. The public is even more shoco learn that the museum has willfully encroached on the Confederate Memorial Park and hpproached the General Assembly of Virginia to have the Chapel destroyed. In years past, he efforts of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the United Daughters of the Confederaave influenced the legislators by going to the State Capitol carrying the flags of our ances

and voicing their opposition to the vile and evil plans of this so called museum. The museuxists today only by the efforts of the then Governor Pollard, who on bended knee, begged ons of Confederate Veterans to approve a small area of the Confederate Memorial Park tosed as a small museum. The SCV took pity on the Governor and approved a tiny little areamuseum to be built on the condition that one area of the museum be dedicated to presenthe history and artifacts of the Confederacy. Since that time, especially under the watch oGovernor Douglas Wilder (the founder of the slave museum with the missing money), th

museum has greatly encroached on the grounds of the R.E. Lee Camp Confederate MemoPark by extending its parking lots, building over top of the park, destroying the ancient oa

ees, and erecting abstract art on the remainder of the park. The Sons of Confederate Veteas a pending law suit against the State for all of its violations and desecrations to our soldemorial. We should be turning out at least half the membership of our camp every Saturdaand in defense of our heritage - especially since this heritage violation is going on right heour back yard. Don't be an "arm chair" patriot - come out and stand for something worthwh

Bring the wife, girlfriend, kids, and even the dog! We even have folks that are crippled ocarrying oxygen bottles out there with a flag!
