Our second grade students went to the

Museum La Plaza de Cultura y Artes and

to City Hall this year. While at the Mu-

seum, they toured their organic garden.

They also went to Los Angeles City Hall,

where they met our representative Gil

Cedillo!

The Angels Gate Cultural Center worked

with our second grade class this year. Our

second graders learned how to turn ordinary

moves into the elements of dance (space,

time, and energy.) On December 8th, the

second graders performed alongside the LA

Choreographers and Dancers. Our second

graders put on a phenomenal show, we

would like to thank the Angels Gate

Cultural Center for

NASA’S WINTER FORMAL DANCE!

of Character. The Six Pillars of Character are: Responsibility,

Caring, Citizenship, Fairness, Respect, and Trustworthiness. Stu-

dents enjoyed delicious food and amazing music provided by DJ Date.

The Fundraising Committee hosts events such as this one in order to

fundraise for our annual Launch into Higher Education Scholarship.

The Launch into Higher Education Scholarship is awarded to a NASA
