(higher than 50% in honors). Therefore, I am making the grading scale for scr 13 gentle for my non-honors sections. (no scr for normal “75%” instead of 60% this time.This announcement serves as your warning that on future tests, scratch paper is required

for anyone who wants to do more than the bare minimum, in other words, higherthan a D-. You must always compete for an “A”. Req’t for A is curved based on top student performance and my judgement as to what is fair.

At some point, around ch 7 or so, scr requirements will rise even further, once wehave heavily trained with math skills. Once we have trained math more heavily, showing math work for all math mcq’s will be mandatory even for a D-.
