Science:Space Systems: Patterns and Cycles: Seasonal patterns of sunrise and sunset can be observed, described, and predicted.1-ESS1-2 Make and record observations of the amount of sunlight at different times of the year.

Students will observe (from media) relative length of the day (sunrise to sunset) throughout the year and graph amount of daylight in different seasons and determine which season has more or less daylight. They will also be writing in their Science Journals about different things that can be done at night and during the day.

Sign-up for Parent-Teacher Conferences from the link you were emailed. We are looking forward to meeting with you all to discuss your child’s progress.

Return the Permission Slip for the October 24th Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch and $9.00 fee by October 17th. Remember to mark if your child needs a sack lunch and if you will be attending.

Homework Folders go home each Monday and are due on Friday unless you need the weekend to complete it.

Spelling, High Frequency Words (both writing and reading them), and Vocabulary Assessments (starting in Theme 2) are at the end of each week.
