RODEO AUSTIN TO HOST BBQ AUCTION & CONCERT AT ACL LIVE
Austin, Texas, November 13, 2015 – Rodeo Austin’s BBQ Auction & Concert
presented by Miller Lite on November 14, 2015 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. Attendees
have the option of purchasing several levels of tickets for the event to cater to their interests.
Floor and Mezzanine tickets include dinner and silent and live auctions, while Balcony tickets
are for concertgoers only.
Happy hour and a silent auction will kick off the evening at 5:30 p.m., followed by a
first-class BBQ dinner catered by local favorite, Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew. There will be a
live auction where guests will enjoy opportunities to bid on and purchase items such as
weekend hunts, hotel and golf packages, and more.
Rodeo Austin originally scheduled Radney Foster to headline the event, however, due
to severe pneumonia he will be unable to perform. We are thrilled to announce country music
idols Restless Heart will be playing on Saturday. With one of the most successful careers in
Country Music history, Restless Heart has placed more than 25 singles on the charts,
celebrated four certified gold records, and won a wide arrange of awards including the
Academy of Country Music’s Top Vocal Group trophy.
Proceeds from this fundraiser go toward Rodeo Austin’s mission of Promoting Youth
Education – Preserving Western Heritage. In 2015, Rodeo Austin awarded $2.6 million to the
youth of Texas.
