Processed turkey meat comes from one day old turkeys raised on our farms in Codlea or Sighisoara. The turkeys are fed with grain, forage and vegetable oils srot, which provides high quality meat.

The farms capacity reaches 1,2 million heads per year, that means about 17000 tonnes of alive turkeys per year.

La société GALLI-GALLO, avec plus de 10 ans d’expérience dans l’élevage et l’abattage des poulets de chair, a inauguré le 10 août 2010 le plus moderne abattoir des dindes d’Europe avec une capacité de 48000 tonnes par an.

L’investissement de plus de 22 millions euros dans des fermes d’élevage des dindes, dans la logistique, la distribution, l’abattage est réalisé selon les normes de dernière génération et est unique en Roumanie. L’abattoir nouvellement construit a une superficie d’environ 6000 mètres carrés sur un seul niveau et est réalisé avec des matériaux de construction approuvés par l’Union Européenne pour l’industrie alimentaire.

La viande de dinde transformée provient de poussins d’un jour, élevés dans les fermes appartenant à la société, de Codlea et Sighisoara. Les dindes sont élevées avec des céréales, d’aliments composés et d’huiles végétales, ce qui garantit une qualité irréprochable de la viande.

La capacité de fermes atteint 1200000 têtes par an, ce qui signifie environ 17000 tonnes de viande en poids vif par an.

The Romanian Food Industry Federation groups all the employers in the food industry, along with the largest national and multinational processing companies. It is the unified voice of this sector, its representativeness of the industry being juridical recognised and it is also the signatory of the collective work contract of the branch.

The major objective of the Federation is to support the rapid development of the food industry in the context of the European Union Market. We have hundred of operators that work at European standards of hygiene and quality, but there are many others who still have to work regarding this issue.

We proposed ourselves to sustain the food export on the single market, but also outside the EU and we know that the progress of our industry depends on the restraint of the underground economy and also on the equilibration of the contract relationships with the commercial sector, especially the big retail.

We transmit to all our members information daily information referring to the European and worldwide market, to the tendencies of the developed countries, so that they can be in touch with the strength of the competitors. Only the processors able to compete with the most known European producers will survive and develop. We know there are such Romanian companies, but we want to be as many as possible.
