1 Accessible Wildlife Hunting Roseau River Wildlife Management Area NW Roseau County Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Roseau River WMA Wildlife Office 27952 400 th St Roseau, MN 56752 (218) 463 - 1130 Directions: From Pinecreek, go 3 miles west on County Highway 3. The Pool 1 Sanctuary is open for deer hunting during the muzzleloader season. There are three Accessible Blinds on this WMA. The wheelchair accessible blind, Controlled Hunting Zone Blind #1, is located along Roseau County Road #3 and is accessible from the Headquarters campground via a gravel wheelchair trail. The campground is located just south of the RRWMA Headquarters. The rules for hunting in a controlled hunt zone are located in the Minnesota Hunting and Trapping Regulations handbook. (See photo below) The wheel chair accessible Controlled Hunting Zone Blind # 10 is located approximately 1 mile south of the RRWMA Headquarters and is accessible from the dike roadway just west of Roseau County # 3 and from a nearby parking area. Minnesota Hunting and Trapping Regulations handbook will have the rules for hunting in a controlled zone. The elevated wheelchair accessible deer-hunting platform is located approximately one half-mile north and one quarter mile west of the WMA Headquarters. It is accessible from a nearby parking area via a gravel wheelchair trail. The Roseau River Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association donated materials for this stand. The Minnesota Conservation Corps did construction. The wheelchair accessible Headquarters campground primitive toilet is located in the Headquarters Campground just south of the WMA Headquarters.
