A considerable amount of dust is created duringthefillcycleinsolidsapplicationsand this creates a further challenge for measurement technologies. Non-contacting transmitters handle dust in the vaporspacewell,butaheavylayerofduston the antenna could block the signal. The Rosemount 5408 overcomes this with an integratedairpurgingsystemforcleaningthe antenna.

TheRosemount5303withprobeendprojectionistheidealsolutionforfinepowderswthlowdielectricproperties.

Advanced surface tracking enables the Rosemount5408toprovidereliablemeasurements in very demanding applications.Condensationanddustresistance are managed with a choice of PTFE,cone,orparabolicantennastosuitverydemandingapplications.TheflexiblesingleleadprobefortheRosemount5303is the ideal solution for smaller and medium sized vessels.
