L’Interprofession du Beaujolais
Beaujolais. Partners since the first strides of this big event, we have always believed in its im-mense potential.
The history of the marathon is linked to the wine of our region: this date occurs during the week of Beaujolais Nouveaux. Its route crosses our cellar, our vines and its runners have the opportunity to taste the bottles. We don’t see it any other way. The Mara-thon International du Beaujolais reflects the value conveyed by our vinicultural stakeholders and primeur wines : the conviviality, the sharing and creation of memorable moment.
Already the 14th edition but the Ma-rathon reinvents itself every year to attract more and more runners and to make them discover the charm of Beau-jolais. From the 4 corners of the world, the runners have the opportunity to see our wines landscapes, to sleep in the winegrowers ‘ gites, to visit our castles, and appreciate our wines by immersing yourself in the regional culture.
A real opportunity for the wine tourism. More than a simple collaboration, The Marathon International du Beaujolais is becoming over the years a tradition to consume without moderation.
Dominique PIRONPrésident Inter Beaujolais
