When I started Kombatan? Being part Filipino I have had an

interest in Southeast Asian martial arts for a long time.

I started Kombatan specifically in 2012.

My favorite system from Kombatan?

If I had to choose, I would say solo/ doble baston and the

empty hand translations of these weapons - as well as

footwork in general.

Best Kombatan memories:

The recent seminar in Denmark with GM Roger Solar, which

reminded me that there is still a lot to learn about Kombatan &

FMA and that you should never forget about the basics.

My Motto: Knowing is not enough, we must apply.
