Grants.gov Update
Forms are changing!NIH will be reissuing all funding opportunities in
December – no date setWhat does this mean for the Adobe forms?
NIH – Anything that can’t be submitted via InfoEd and is due after 1/25 you should not download your application until after NIH reposts their funding opportunities
Other Sponsors – do not start too early – sign up for email alerts for that funding opportunity in case the sponsor changes to the new forms
Grants.gov Update
Known Issues in Adobe FormsDUNS – if you mistype the DUNS # on the 424, it will
transfer to the budget pages. There is no way to correct – you will have to download a new copy of the application and start over.
Key Personnel – if you incorrectly add a key personnel you cannot delete them, you either need to replace their information with another individual or you need to download a new copy of the application and start over.
Human Subject Assurance number not always an editable field. NIH will temporarily change JIT in the Commons to allow this information to be submitted.
Grants.gov Update
What does this mean for InfoEd?We will be upgrading in December but we aren’t sure
when that will happen. InfoEd is preparing the code for all of the changes. We will send an email out to all InfoEd users when we schedule the upgrade.
If you are going to be submitting after 1/25, you can start your applications now. After the upgrade you will have to go back into the application and select the new funding opportunity which will bring in the updated forms.
