Student Times: • Period 1: 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.• Period 2: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Purpose – provide opportunity to make up a course for students who failed a course in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and/or Social Studies

• Computer-based instruction - teacher of record is FLVS teacher

• Possibility for student to recover more than one failed course - promotion decisions at completion of course or segment

Jump Start

Goal: Provide a summer learning institute at elementary and Title I middle and high schools to give current primary-aged and incoming 7th and 9th grade students a “jump” on the upcoming year’s curriculum. Jump Start will allow target students to enter school better prepared for success in the upcoming school year.
