Result• I talked the mayor of Kobe & organizers of KobeITFes about how much level of radiation in Kobe

• This workshop was first time in Western Japan

• We could spread to understand about this project & to have interest about environmental datas

Why is it in Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology?

• I had a chance to go to study abroad at Rose-Hulman in this spring

• I got a kit to make a geiger counter from Japan

Activity No.1 @ Rose-Hulman

• I made a workshop to make a geiger counter

• I introduced how to make it for Rose-Hulman’s student, and made it

• I needed some materials and room to make it, professors & students at Rose-Hulam cooperated with me.

Activity No.2 @ Rose-Hulman

• I measured around the university & downtown

• I gave Rose-Hulaman a geiger counter which is made by me at Kobe, and told that radiation level.

• I measured at US which safecast doesn’t have many datas

• I made a workshop @ RHIT（Create a counter in cooperation with local students）

• Donate university （Symbol of friendship with the University of Aizu）

Safecast Conference 2015

• Held in Koriyama on March 25, 2015

• Participation by using relay because it was while studying abroad. I was in US that time.

• Report past activities

• The well-known that the University of Aizu of students are actively participating in these activities

• If you participate in this project, you can get not only a knowledge and a interest of technology but also a interest to volunteer and environmental issues.

• You can find a different that this area have a risk or not if you know the datas. You have a chance to get own evaluation criteria.

• This project have a power to lead to the future
