3. What IS SAFTI?
SAFTI is a transparency portal for consumers andthe general public to find and research credible debt relief providers. It is NOT an advertising site or directory.
SAFTI is a system where consumers can see what credentials a company carries, who they actually work with, what model they use and how to contact them.
SAFTI is a consumer complaint mitigation tool. SAFTI is NOT a debt relief industry BBB. It will be a true, government recognized credential building system to bolster your expertise and aid consumers .
SAFTI is a peer-policed ,self regulation system. SAFTI will be a 501C3 seeking endorsement from the state and federal governments to provide meaningful certification and government recognized standards and protocols to the debt relief industry.
SAFTI is a network of credible companies providing powerfuldebt relief services in a transparent, honest, compliant and consumer focused way.
4. How Does SAFTI Work?
A volunteer board is being created. All participating firms may nominate someone tothe board. The board is only called on when a complaint has not been resolved amicably by the firm and will then act as a peer liaison offering solutions to satisfy both parties.
Participating companies fill out a SAFTI application containing all the necessary information a consumer should see. Nothing hidden, exactly what it is.
Your company will get verified. That means that SAFTI staff will go through a verifications process to ensure the information on the application is accurate.
Your company gets listed on the SAFTI site and will get a SAFTI logo for your website.
You will follow our boardmandated code of ethics including compliance with Sec 5 of the FTC Act.
5. How Does SAFTI Work?
A rating system will be deployed that will allow you to earn higher ratings by adding credentials and certifications. Adherence to the SAFTI Board Directed standards and protocols will earn the highest ratings. Some credentials that could earn higher ratings are things that are relevant. BSI, ISO, Chamber of Commerce,compliance Certifications, voluntarySAFTI performance audits, etc.
Monthlyconference calls with the SAFTI board to discuss changes, challenges and ideas. A networking group on LinkedIn for SAFTI members ONLY, to collaborate with your peers has been added. SAFTI is NOT a new industry trade group.
8. Consumer complaint and mitigations features and protocols will be in place. There will be board mandated procedures and standards which MUST be followed.
9. SAFTI is free and can and will be revoked for violations of our code and standards. Unlike a trade group, SAFTI loses nothing if you are revoked.
6. How Does SAFTI Work?
SAFTI will support the new NDCC Certification System. NDCC Certification is themost robust and thorough certification process ever sdeployed in this industry. We are seeking government recognition and endorsement. Consumers can trust the process and system.
SAFTI will provide confidence for the consumer, unparalleled credibility for you and will earn trust from the regulators by demonstrating a true cooperative, self-regulation system in this industry.SAFTI will eliminate complaints, assistconsumers and create adherence to a series of standards, protocols and certifications within the debt relief industry. This creates consumer protection.
