Liturgical Update for the “Green Phase” With pastoral concern for those who are homebound or medically vulnerable and for parishioners who do not feel comfortable gathering in large settings before an effective vaccine is available, we are continuing to live stream Mass. During the “green (open with some restrictions) phase,” we are continuing to have the entire church fully sanitized on a regular basis. In addition, everyone over two years of age is required to wear a face mask (covering the nose and mouth) upon entering and during the entire time they are in the church building. All are required to use the hand sanitizers provided upon entering the church, and to be mindful of social distancing throughout their time inside & outside the church building. St. Edmund the Martyr, patron saint of pandemics, Pray for us!

Celebrating 175 years of
IHM Mission and Ministry
Praise, Love, Thanksgiving, our abiding prayer!
These are the words sung at the end of the community gatherings of IHM sisters. The refrain is especially poignant this year. On November 10, 2020, we, the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, will celebrate the 175th Anniversary of our founding. Please visit the website to support the IHM Sisters

DON’T COME EMPTY-HANDED
We are so very grateful to the parishioners of St. Maximilian Kolbe who faithfully bring donations. Donations can continue to be left in the red bin marked “Families in Action” inside the front door of the church. School and PREP students can continue to bring donations to the “Kids in Action” bin in the Copy Room at the school.
For the month of July we are collecting: Shampoo
From The St. Agnes Day Room: School may not look the same this year but students will still need back packs and supplies! We are looking ahead to our Backpack and School Supplies Program to assist needy students in our area. Last year, through the kindness of parishioners from the surrounding parishes, we assisted over 300 young students to be prepared for a good start to the academic year. It is a wonderful gift to help a child be ready to learn. You can help by donating: backpacks, pens and pencils, colored pencils, marble composition books, spiral note books, glue sticks, scissors, highlighters, markers, 1 and 2 " binders, looseleaf paper, 2 pocket paper folders and pencil cases and rulers, pencil sharpeners and dry erase markers. Any and all of the above items are a blessing and will be appreciated by a student in need. If you would like to help, supplies can be dropped off at the back of the church. You can also email [email protected] for more information. Thank You for supporting our program!
HELP NEEDED WATERING AND WEEDING
THE PARKING LOT FLOWERBEDS Do you like to garden? We’re looking for help with weeding and watering flowerbeds along the tiered walk in the parking lot. Set you own schedule. Dough (follow direc. ons for purchased or mixed), Tomato sauce, about 8 oz. shredded cheese, op. onal – vegetables or pre‐cooked meat
Mix up some dough, or buy fresh or frozen pizza dough. Remember – we can’t see the yeast working, but we know it’s working as the dough rises.

Mix water and yeast together in a large mixing bowl and let sit un l the yeast becomes ac vated and begins to bubble/foam. Add the oil, flour and salt and mix well (add more flour if needed). Knead on clean floured surface a few minutes un l it forms a ball. Oil a clean bowl and the dough surface. Cover dough and bowl with a towel and let rise in a warm place (about 1 hour).
Roll dough on a floured surface – place on baking tray covered with flour or bread crumbs. Spread on sauce, cheese and any other toppings you like. Bake at 400° for 10‐15 minutes, or un l done.
Make the dough
1 cup warm (not hot) water
2¼ tsp. or 1 packet ac ve dry yeast
2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
3 cups all purpose flour
½ tsp. salt
In its quiet way, it grows and spreads
