Our parish priests will never, under any circumstances, ask you via email to purchase gift cards or wire money. Any such request is fraudulent and should be deleted immediately.

Phishing scams targeting churches in this way have become increasingly common in recent months. Most of these emails will say something like “I have a favor to ask” and proceed to ask

you to purchase gift cards or wire money. We recommend you report such emails as phishing scams to your email provider and the State of New Jersey Cyber Crimes Unit.

Please feel free to call parish office to validate the authenticity of any suspicious email claiming to be from our priests or staff.

Public Square Rosary Rally

Please join the 2019 Public Square Rosary Crusade. Our nation is in great need of public prayer, repentance and conversion. We ask God to save America through the Rosary of His Most Holy Mother.

Please join your fellow parishioners as we pray for our nation on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 12:00 noon. The local Public Square Rosary Rally will take place in Cresskill at the corner of Jefferson and Madison Avenues in front of the Parish Offices.

We will be praying the Rosary simultaneously along with approximately 25,000 other local Rosary Rallies across the country.

Please contact Ed Naso at [email protected] for more information.

Why Set Up Bill Pay Online?

We are extremely grateful for your generous contributions!

Using online automatic contributions is one way to simplify your church giving. By setting up these automatic reoccurring payments, you will not have to remember your check book or adequate cash on Sunday mornings or even handwrite checks every time you give. Instead you can choose an amount and date(s), and your bank will regularly write those checks on your behalf.

Instructions for Bill Pay Online

1. Contact your bank - They will tell you how they can conveniently send your contribution to the church office. If you are currently paying your bills online, you can simply add your church donation, payable to St. Therese Church, to your list.

2. Choose how often you want to send your contributions: once a week, twice a month, once a month, etc.

3. List your envelope number when you are asked for an account number, if you do not know your number, please contact the church office.

4. Have your bank mail to: St. Therese Church 200 Jefferson Ave. Cresskill, NJ 07626 5. The parish staff, will credit your account for your year-end contribution report just like when you place your envelope in the collection basket.

Discussion groups start soon! Come together for six weeks in small groups with fellow parishioners to pray and reflect on the clergy abuse crisis and to envision a path forward as a Roman Catholic family of faith. Each session is only 90 minutes.

RENEW International, a Catholic nonprofit organization, has designed this healing process.

Fr. Sam has appointed a Parish Coordinating Team to move this initiative forward. Please pray for its success!

Come and join Fr. Ashley Harrington Tuesday, October 8th at 7:30PM

Carmelite Spiritual Center at St. Cecilia’s Church Englewood, NJ

OCTOBER SESSION of IN THE NEWS

Let’s gather to review and discuss Catholicism as it was presented in the media the last month. Our goal is to openly examine how our faith is being communicated to the public.

Please check Fr. Ashley’s new blog fatherashley.com
