Congratulations to Our Middle School Math Meet Team for placing 6th!!! Congratulations to Brandon Tregde (gr.8) for placing 4th overall in the individual competition.

Physics Catapults Using only a handful of rudimentary craft items, along with imagination and creativity, the high school physics classes were tasked with designing a catapult to launch objects that would accurately hit a target. The catapult must have also been powerful enough to knock a tower over. The students analyzed and presented their catapult results as part of their study of projectile motion.

Robotics Team Report

In preparation for competition, our Robotics Team visited the water treatment plant. They will have their first scrimmage on Saturday, Oct 28th @ 9:00am @ The Academy for Arts, Science and Technology.

This is just a reminder that Christian Academy follows Horry County Schools for weather-related closings and delays.

Mornings: please do not park in any of the numbered spaces in the faculty/staff /kinder parking lots. Should you need to come inside, please utilize the parking spaces in front of the main entrance. Afternoons: Please do not park in the horseshoe drive in the front of the school after 12:30. We need to keep that space open for dismissals.

DRIVER’S TRAINING

Coach Marty Williams will be offering a Driver Training Course for beginning drivers on Saturday, November 4th beginning at 8:30AM-5:00PM here at CA. Lunch will be provided. The complete Driver Training Course consists of the classroom session and three / two -hour behind the wheel driving sessions set up by Coach Williams at the convenience of parents and students. If your child is at least 15 years of age and has secured a Beginners Permit, they may attend the driver-training course. All moms are invited to attend CA's weekly prayer group. We meet every Thursday morning at 8 a.m. in the Prayer Garden. Our purpose is to come together as mothers to pray for our children, Christian Academy's faculty and staff, as well as our community and country.
