More thant twenty years ago, Paddy and Liz Reynolds were forced to leave the dream lifethyel

they had created for themselves and their six children in South Africa.

While in South Africa Paddy ran a family practice doing everything rom delivering babies to

doing house calls. He worked seven days a aweek and “loved every minute of it”.

When the family moved to Australia Paddy was told he couldn’t practise any of his speciality

skilss and and he felt as though his dreams had been completely crushed. A year into their new

life in Asutralia Paddy and Liz discovered this business.

“People tell you when you first see this business you cannot make a quick deciion – you need to

research this – I didn’t need to do any research – my mind was made up straight away - I did

make a quick decision – I wasn’t going to do it!” . However after some thought Paddy reversed

this “quick decision” and within months Liz. And Paddy proceede to share the opprtunity with

others as well as run a general practice in Tasmania.

Paddy and Liz now have an international business that spanms most countries of the world.

Paddy’s philosophy is to get intot he pipeline while you do your researxch. Ion the meatime you

can by a wholesale and save money – “what’s wrong with that”, you can share this savings

opportubnity with other people “what’s wrong with that?”. And at the same time develop a

Yang Xing Li and Chen Bin

Yang Xing Li was a public relation clerk in a

major local enterprise. Not satisfied with the

situation, she moved to Shenzhen for better

opportunities, firstly, working in a small

advertising agency and got into network

marketing business soon after.

She joined in the business in April 1995 as the

first batch of Amway China IBOs.

After years of hard working together with Chen

Bin, her husband, and never giving up, they

Gao Guang and Wan JieComing from a family that has been practicing traditional

Chinese medicine from generations, Gao Guang studied

medical in a top-range medical school in China, taught in

the same college after graduation, and established a clinic

after that.

After finishing up with a graduate degree in another

medical school, started a career in a local hospital as the

head of the technical department for 8 years.

In November 1999, she was shown the business and got

started right away, built to emerald level in about 18

months, and keep striving forward, became diamond in

August 2003 and EDC in August 2005. Attended

A good friend who came extra from Turkey to Germany showed me the

business in 1996. At that time my priority was my fitness center. As I

had to spend lot´s of time at my work I just had little time for my

children. I knew that something at my situation must change!

I was very interested in the business but also very sceptically and

negatively and I couldn´t imagine that it works. I saw myself already as a

product salesman walking from door to door.

My friend went with me to a big seminar. This event helped me because

I was able to meet other people interested in the business and I received

Elena has studied Business Administration at the DeGree College, in

Athens and continued her studies in International Marketing, in France.

She worked as responsible for International and Public Relations in

the Greek Ministry of Justice, for 17 years . While she was expecting her

fourth child, she started seeking new working directions. She was not

looking for another job, but for an opportunity to work for herself, to be

independent and control her time, and to have lots of money!!

She wanted it “all”, so when she saw the plan, a few weeks after the

beginning of the Greek market, she got immediately excited, and her

“goal” from the first day was to go Diamond! While she was still working

and raising her 4 children (the 4th being a new born baby) , with the

goal which was to triple her high salary, quit her job and become a full-

time mother .

During an Emerald meeting with Jim and Nancy Dornan in Orlando, she

took the decision to make diamond by the end of the year, to “prove” to

her teams that to build 3 legs in less than one year is achievable, make

her uplines proud for her and close the first circle of 10 years in the

business with her first goal!

Her business now spans the globe including Russia. Her saying is “the

Péter and Kata met each other half a year before they started

their business. They imagined their future together but this

future did not look too bright. Péters’ main job was in the arts

and crafts industry and he also had his own workshop,

together with a friend, where he worked to establish his own

business. Where he earned money from the one job, the other

job took away. Kata was working as German correspondent in

a bank. Her work was interesting but she still felt that „life was

too short to spend it only in an office”. At that time they lived

in a bare Studio. They didn’t have a car nor did they have a

telephone. The change looked impossible without any

investment or possibilities to do so.

They jumped into the business which was not easy in the

beginning but it became very exciting and changed very much

after one year when they became Diamonds. Not only did they

enter into the world’s luxurious circumstances and changed

their Studio for a family house at the Danube river, but the

most important change was that they could make their own

priorities and fill in their own working times. They can raise

their three small children and spend real time with them.

Nowadays our greatest motivation is to see our business

who lived in Sydney) when They were still living in Perth Australia in

1991. They were invited to a Business Preview and got interested in

the business straightaway.

When Amway opened in Indonesia in July 1992, they came back to

Indonesia and went SP in the first month. Our business went down

after a few months to 9% level and they started our conventional

business as a builder contractor.

They stop doing the business for 1½ years until they were invited by

our sponsor to a BBS. That their first turning point in the business.

They got excited and start building again. They went back to SP and

move on to GP, Platinum and EPt.

They were in comfort zone for many years because both their

conventional and Amway businesses are doing well, until something

happened which made them realised that in conventional business

they were still under the authority of someone else. Two years later,

in August 2003 they became Diamond.

When they first time introduced with this business, Pandji

was a consultant in information technology company and

Didi was just resigned from an oil company. They both

started build the business in the middle of economic crisis

system to secure their dreams and their children too.

The business expanded in all over Indonesia and now is

university in Indonesia, and both continued their study in Western Australia. Aldi,

since over 13 years, has been working and building his career as profesional in a

Multi National Company. Whereas Dhanya, she worked as a Marketing Manager of

Haagen Daz Ice Cream for 6 years.

At the beginnings of doing the business, Dhanya only thought that the business

fitted only those who were desperated in looking for some money, it was because

she saw the office boy sold the Amway products! She didn’t know that the business

was big and growing and worth to try. Someone has tried to show the plan to them

for over 6 time, but still they’re were never interested in even trying to do it! But

the turning point came after they had a better view towards the business. It was

after attending the Leadership Seminar… they started to follow the system properly

and focusing on their goals in order to reach dreams.

They’re more motivated by the obstacles and they have their main reasons to do

Irfan now is still active as a Vice President of the second

largest private bank in Indonesia. He works together with

his wife, Wati, who was a former sky diver athlete in

Indonesia, taking care of four children.

Trigerred by loosing his job at early 1999, when his

company was being liquidated by The Government, Irfan

start thinking on how to have a business which might be

used as backup if something bad happen again in the

future. Amway was none of the choices at that time as he

thought that Amway is not his cup of tea. But he was really

surprised when he attended his first N21 seminar, he found

a bunch of high achiever professionals like him very actively

doing this business.

That was the day when everything start changing, including

Having graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA,

as a Computer Engineer, Krisno went back to Indonesia and built his

own company. Christi who has a degree in acounting, help him with

During the 1998 economic crisis, their business went through a very

difficult time.

That was the time when they were introduced to the Amway

business. At first they did not see this as a viable solution for their

challenges, since they both were introverts who do not like to meet

people. But soon, they realized that this business is God's way in

helping them go through those tough times.

They face lot of challenges in building the Amway business mainly

due to their personality, but after 8 gruelsome years, they finally

Afif & Meta Noor used to be a manager engineering in a private

company, whereas Meta, formely she was an assistant manager in a

private bank.

Started the business when they’re introduced by Meta’s younger

sister. Her sister understood very well that Meta looking for the

business opportunities that could substitude her monthly salary,

beside the time she could spend with the children at home. Their

Business Administration and Imelda was a Tacoma Community

College graduated Washington USA

Daniel was a self employee with several businesses including small

private bank, contractor and developer property before join the

Amway N21 business. Imelda worked for one of the biggest property

in Jakarta for 6 years.

They joined Amway-N21 business when the economic crisis strikes

Indonesia. The crisis put Daniel’s former businesses down and closed.

The system of Network 21 teaches them how to cope with problems

and how to solve them even they were in the bad economic

condition.

The struggle during the crisis encouraged them to change their life.

After 4.5 years doing what it took in the business, they became a

Diamond.

and now has become an entrepreneur for 12 years. Ira had worked as

a Dentist for 13 years and then retired early at the age of 39.

Antonius worked in the construction / oil industry and Ineke worked

One of their friend came to Indonesia all the way from Australia to

show them the plan. Ineke got interested from the beginning but

Antonius was still a little bit skeptic. But they believe someday God

will spoke to Antonius and wake him up to take this opportunity. And

it happened. Afterseven months joined in this business, Antonius was

able to buy a brand newcar to replace his old car which was in a very

bad condition. And then less then three years Ineke was retired from

her job.

They were never able to travel abroad before but because of this

business, now they have seen a lot but they still have their dreams to

go to many places around the world.

Started in Indonesia in 1994. Beni was a Marketing Account Manager

in IBM Indonesia, Rainy was a Transmittal Operator in IBM Indonesia.

They are working full time while building the business and went

Diamond in 7 years. Resigned from IBM Indonesia 10 years ago, and

full time in Amway ever since. They have 2 Children: Vincent and

Maureen. Until today they have 13 downline diamonds, 1 downline

Founders Double Diamonds, some 25 downline Emeralds.

Question:“Do we live to work or do we work to live?”, if we live to

work, since we start working until we retire, we keep working for

someone else and eventually we die poor, if we work to live, of

course, we have to work in life in order to live but not forever,

because this business can give us financial and time freedom”. It’s so

nice to have options.

As a business owner of two companies , Djufly is a workaholic. He thought

what he had done and spent time in his company was for his family, so

In the beginning, we are very negative with the

business until we could clearly understand about

how the system worked. It became more

interesting to us gradually after we saw the first

SR KRISTIAWAN & TJATRI DEVI Kristiawan is a Civil Engineering student and Devi is

a dentist by education. They started the business as

a student in a small city in Indonesia name

Yogyakarta. They're sponsored by Kristiawan

parents who lived 500km away from their small

town. They joined without a full presentation of the

business marketing plan, but just because

Kristiawan parents told them to join.

They started the business properly after Kristiawan

parents showed them about Network 21 system 2

months after they signed the application. They

became an Emerald in Yogyakarta, a small city with

80% of population is student. Living in

Yogyakarta far away from their sponsor, as a

student, no income, nor cars, and at the begining

they had to sell the product door to door only to

have money to come to the meeting which held in

Jakarta.

Now they are Diamond and have gained everything

they've been dreaming of...getting 100% financial

Bimo is an ex architect consultant manager and Ninik

is an ex employee of an international bank. They

started this business because it helped them to bring

out other’s and their own potentials in order to reach

The “successful full-time IBO” with a large-scale

business also are the parents of a teenage daughter

named Monik. For Bimo and Ninik, helping other to

Guntur is a successful businessman,

and Maria has her jewelry store, they

already have the money and the

lifestyle, they travel a lot around the

world with family and friends. They

Sean & Miranda are in the sporting environment being

professional show jumpers . When they first saw this

opportunity even though they thought it was a good idea it was

never a major priority in their lives as their sporting career

was their passion and dream. This dream was taken away

from them when both qualified for the World Championships in

1998 but went as spectators due to sponsors being unable to

finance us.

They soon came to realise that no matter how good an

opportunity may seem, being sponsored still meant their lives

were controlled by someone else. They then understood that in

order to compete at world level they would have to create their

own financial future.

This is when they made the decision to go back to South Africa

and build this business seriously. It took them two and a half

years to replace both our incomes and since then have had the

ability to design our lives which means that every morning we

wake up and decide whether we want to work or not.

Paul & Linda Double Diamond, started the business when

they're introduced by their friend, Robert Angkasa when they're

in Australia. First, both Paul who worked as computer

consultant & Linda was an accountant, weren't sure of running

the business, as they realized that they're shy, and had only a

fiew of friends, even they knew the hidden potential the

business offer.

Fortunately they realized that to become successful people,

being smart is not only a solution. They prefered follow

successful's people paths. Their turning point of being serious

running the business was when they attended their first

Leadership Seminar.

Their only dreams are being able to give their kids, Adrian and

Eugenie good educations, and helping other people achieving

their goals and dreams.

Suwito is a philatelist and Nancy is a housewive.

They are the fastest couple that achieved diamond

pin ( 22 months – March 2002 ). At first Suwito is

very negative about his business, he refuses more

than he can remember. He thought he already had

a perfect life; finally he gave up and went to his first

WES. Starting at the moment he realized “the

enemy of great life is good life”. He knows he can

improve his quality of life and his family. Now he

has a very big business in many cities in Indonesia

JOHANNES & ROMA SIMATUPANG

Johannes was graduated from Kansas University, US, as Petroleum engineer and worked for American Oil Company for 17 years, whereas Roma, she was graduated from Boston University, as a computer engineer and worked for computer company for 7 years. They started the business when they were first introduced by an American oil-co, a friend who showed the plan but did not follow up. Then they were sponsored by local friend in Indonesia from IBM, who is also a Diamond. There, their tips which are the keys to build the business : being persistent & a humble attitude to learn the system. Their dreams & goals are helping a lot of friends & family to go Diamond!Now they have 7 diamonds and many emeralds in the group.

ROBERT ANGKASA

Robert is an engineer & banker. He worked in several

companies in Sydney before ended up working for a

famous private bank in Indonesia which at that time was

a major accomplishment for him and what he always

wanted. His career moved very fast. His last position was

as an AVP before he resigned in July 1994 as he prefered

running the Amway business that had been started in

1991. He admitted that sometimes he doubted his

decision of doing the Amway business. Everything

changed after he went to one of Network 21 functions.

Robert is now a member of Amway Founders Council

and has double diamonds, executive diamonds, 40+

diamonds and hundreds of emeralds in the group.
