What do you know about dandruff?

A healthy scalp secretes oil and sweat.

When mixed together they form a healthy barrier with a ph of 4.5.

We also shed skin cells from the epidermis which occurs from the

scalp as well…

This process has a name? It‟s called KERATINISATION.

When the epidermis cells shed more rapidly along the scalp surface

it creates unwanted build up.

This build up is what we know as dandruff.

What IS THE CAUSE OF hair loss?

Normally 50–100 hairs are displaced everyday by new hair growth.

It‟s a natural balance.

Gloss Styling Gel

For blow drying: Add to wet hair, the amount of a ten cent piece for short hair and style as usual. No

Salon Sales Tips

The Three Steps to Success

Step 1 Ask – The more questions you ask, the more chances you have of addressing the customers concerns.

Step 2 Listen – Always listen to what the customer is saying, if you are confused as to what the concerns are...

ask another question.

Step 3 Own – Let the customer smell the product, apply the product onto the customer... and most importantly, let the

customer hold the product. Remember if the customer is already holding the product, they already feel like they

own the product.

Closing the Sale – The hardest part of the selling process.

Assume the customer is taking your recommendation, by saying “I‟ll just get those products ready for you, shall I” –

make it a statement and not a question.

Integrity – Only recommend products that address the customers needs. A good customer, is a customer that

purchases on the recommendation of the hairdresser. Sell the customer a product that they don‟t need, or that won‟t

address the concerns. You will then lose the trust of that customer, and it‟s back to square one in the relationship.

Customer Records – Record all products used, recommended and sold. This will enable you to have a clear

understanding of the needs, concerns and progress that your customer is making.

Customer follow up – Call your customer 2 weeks after they have purchased the products, see if they are happy with

the results. Address any issues they may have, and unsure they are using the product correctly. Remember it‟s all

about building your relationship, and the best way to do this is to show that you care.
