Hey guys first of all I would like to thank you for

much because whenever I get hurt it develop a new

listened patiently to my crazy story and discussions

about the book (even though the fact remains the same

that I am a real bore while talking sometimes) all the

girls and boys who do not care about what people say. I

the required information for the book and literally helped

me write a story which takes place in three different

who I interviewed without their knowledge that they are

biggest selling English language novelist of Indian

history my dear Chethan Bhagat he was my biggest

inspiration and guide. All the Bollywood celebrities well

Prologue

“So is this a date?” I asked.

“Ya maybe I never thought that way” Raj said.

Raj full name Rajveer Singh one of my colic’s we

worked together in an insurance company ‘Ristey’ we

worked in its Bangalore branch. Raj belonged to a well

settled Marwari family, he is from Delhi. Raj was a

good looking guy he was a person who was always

happy, at least he was happy every time when I saw him.

He was kind of that marriage material. But all this didn’t

matter to me. Today when the office time ended he

invited me to join him to a Restaurant ‘Tiara’ to have

dinner. I said ‘yes’ not because I liked him or something

but I had to cook dinner myself because I live alone in

the company guest house. Precise it has been 6 months

since I reached Bangalore it was the first time someone

had invited me for dinner. So I said ‘yes’ and here we

are. I had worn a black jeans and a purple Colourshirt.

He had worn a blue jeans and white shirt. We were

sitting opposite to each other with our food in frond.

“So why did you invite me?” I asked.

“Well, It has been a long time since you reached

Bangalore and I don’t think you have much friends at

office and even I don’t have much friends” Raj said.

“Oh! Good choice” It was strange though I never

thought that anyone could choose me as a friend.

Raj smiled.

“So, what are you doing here at Bangalore?” I asked.

“Actually my Girlfriend I mean ex-girlfriend used

work’s here I came here for her but we broke up a week

after I reached here and she got some other job also but I

liked it here so I didn’t went back” Raj said.

“Your ex ha, is she South Indian?” I asked.

“Yes” Raj said.

I laughed.

“What?” He asked.

“What were you thinking when you did that? Chetan

Bhagat will write part 2 of his book 2 states based on

your love story?” I asked and laughed even more.

“I don’t know about CB but Dolly you wait and watch

one day Abhishek Verman will turn even my story into a

film” Raj said.

“Abishek Verman! Director of 2 states film? Ya go meet

him or should I just give him a call maybe he will send

his new car to pick you up” I said and giggled even

more.

“It’s not funny” Raj said.

“OK I am sorry” I said.

“Come on I am talking about my breakup and you

are………” Raj said a little frustrated.

“I can understand” I said.

“Really, have you faced one yet?” Raj asked.

“Well I have faced it 2 times, One was not literally a

breakup but even that was painful actually I came here to

escape from some problems caused by my love story” I

said.

“Really, what happened?” Raj asked.

“Well it’s a big story” I said.

“Tell it” Raj said.

“I won’t tell it but I will read, I can read it” I said.

“From where” Raj asked a little confused.

“From this”

I said handing him over an unpublished book. We can

hardly call it a book it is just a story printed in A4

sheet’s which were put together in a file.

“What is this?” Raj asked confused.

“Don’t laugh it’s my first book which I wrote I tried to

publish it but tough luck” I said.

Today I had the book with me as I got it back from a

publisher along with a rejection this morning.

“Oh! So you want to become a writer?” Raj asked.

“Not really I just wanna tell everyone my story” I said.

“Why do you wanna tell everyone about your story?”

Raj asked.

“Oh! Let’s read it together, anyway tomorrow is a

Sunday let’s meet and read it you will get answers for all

your questions” I said.

“Can we read it at your home?” Raj asked.

“OK I am alone in my home anyway and I feel super

bored there” I said.

“OK then” Raj said.

After finishing our meal we went back to our individual

homes. After reaching home I took of my heels and

jumped to bed.

I woke up in the morning and then I got ready and by

9:00 Raj came home. He had worn a grey t-shirt and

black pant and I had worn a pink top with blue printed

pant.

“Hi Raj” I said.

“Forget hi’s and bye’s we have some work to do” He

said.

“Come in” I said.

He came in and sat down I took out my file and handed

it over to him.

“Dolly, where did you get this idea from?” Raj asked.

“I don’t know I just felt like writing it” I said.

“Hey you read it” Raj said.

“OK if you insist” I said.

And I started reading.

Hi I am Dolly, Dolly Jha.

I belong to a conservative Punjabi family a big one we

are almost 15 something people in the same house. Plus,

all our relatives who live nearby keep on visiting us

often. Actually despite being a Punjabi I never went to

Punjab I live in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. What?

There are Punjabis here also but not too much though.

And I think most of the Punjabis in Hyderabad belong to

my family. Trust me my family have too much of

people. I am not a big writer or something. And I am not

writing this to show my creativity power or something. I

am writing this to tell everyone all the things what I

wanted to tell all of you but none of you ever cared to

even listen to me. Actually today is my wedding and like

every girl who is not offered a choice about her future

husband I am going to run away. You know it is a

normal thing in India. But it is not normal that a girl

elopes with her groom on her wedding day. But this

abnormal thing had happen with me and my groom

Raghav. Even I was not offered a choice by my family.

Actually I was offered a choice but the choice was

offered like I was not offered a choice but actually I was

offered a choice no actually they wanted to surprise me

with their choice actually mine or the choice which they

thought was mine but it was not mine but my family

thought it was mine but it was not mine and now they

think I am happy as I got the person I choose but I didn't

choose I didn't get a choice even. Ow, ow I am sorry

sometimes telling things shortly can be really confusing

especially in my case. It’s OK I will tell things largely

no lengthily, God what am I saying. Ha this one is right I

will tell everything in detail. Actually what happened

was my family thought I was happy with my wedding

and if I was one of those practical type of girls I would

be happy about it. On second thought's Raghav is a nice

guy. He was kind of with me most of my life. He is good

looking he has a good job as a banker and earns good

salary. The biggest achievement in a boy's life but unlike

other bankers he is not super boring. Now sometimes

you will think that I like him. C'mon guys all this

problems are because everyone who meets me and

Raghav together thinks the same thing but the truth is

that we are just BFF you know Best Friends Forever.
