12.12.2012 &14.12.2012The Petitioners herein filed a petition under Section 18 of the 1894 Act for enhancing amount of compensation before the Learned Reference Court. The Learned Additional District Judge relying upon the case of Jamna v Union of India vide LA Appeal No.784/2005 enhanced the compensation from Rs. 15,70,000/- per acre to Rs. 19,36,440/-per acre. 21.05.2014The petitioners filed appeal for enhancement of compensation under Section 54 of the 1894 Act before the Honble High Court of Delhi numbered as LA Appeal No. 270/2014 titled Ran Singh v Union of India and LA Appeal No. 271/2014 titled as Hari Ram v Union of India.

The Honble High Court vide the impugned judgment and final Order was pleased to dismiss the appeals being LA Appeal No. 270/2014 and 271/2014 preferred by the Petitioners herein on the basis of the judgment of Jamna v Union of India dated 08.07.2011 in LA Appeal No. 784/2005 and the Honble High Court was also pleased to dismiss the appeals on the ground that enhancement in the compensation had already been granted by the Learned Additional District Judge.Judgment of Honble High Court at Pages 1-4, SLP PaperbookFinding and Conclusion at Page 4, SLP Paperbook
