Description:

Telenor NLD & ILD consisting of Two Soft Switch and Twenty two MGW ’across all our country.SS is use data Control plane and Voice Gateway as resource which has POI connectivity for different operators. Long distance calls ranging from one circle to another will be using the NLD network with connected Media gateways.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for POI connectivity for various NLD Operators. Communicate with Carriers like Vodafone , Airtel, Reliance, PGCIL, BTSOL, TCL, Aircel, Telenor and RJIO etc for resolving NLD network issue.

Augmentation new E1’s as per Customer Requirement Connectivity with new carrier TDM Analyze the cause of call failures and troubleshoot the problems Work together with Local TSG team for customer complains resolution. MGW expansions, Alarms troubleshooting(functionalities, protocols, interfaces,

parameters and configuration E1s & SLC status, parameters, POI creation, AT, Traffic shift. Ready for Installation survey (Space, Power, MCB, ODF/DDF ports, Cable tray etc)

of the site. Responsible for supervise Subcon team for Installation of Cabinet, Sub rack,

Boards, Optical fibre cables, RJ45 cables according to layout Internal & External Cascading of NEs E1 Termination and Optical fibre connections with MUX/DDF/ODF Connections of power cable from DCDB/PDF to NEs, PGND cables and MCB Responsible for making plans and execute for project smooth implementations,

procedures Regular interactions with TL/TD/PM for planning, implementation, Required sup-

port Interaction with customer and meetings regarding project & issues Call testing/AT with other operators and CDRs approval from RA.

Responsible for project handover to TAC Team Co-ordinating with transmission team for various media outages Rectification & seeking possible causes of MGW Units alarms and Troubleshooting Actively involved in customer complains resolution Responsible to handle fault and Configuration related to NGN Soft Switch and

MGW. Creating POIs with different operators.

Creating Trunk and Signalling links. Route creation.. Taking Backup of different nodes i.e MGW & Switch. Check the Alarm and Troubleshoot the Problem Voice Packet Captured at MGW. Maintaining and validating daily reports of NLD and ILD networks

Troubleshooting & Analyzing the Call Traces of H.248 Traces and SS7 Trace. Handle customer complaints such as CIC Blocking Issue, mute call, roaming call

failure, one way speech. Analyze the cause of call failures and troubleshoot the problems. Restarting of Circles 129 Server. Level opening LRN opening etc Voice Packet Captured at MGW. Taking backups of ZTE router and Switches and monitoring utilizations of routers Technical Support to NGN Core networks. Collect the CDR (Call detail record) from the Billing Server. Responsible for Expansions and Version Upgradations.

Experience in Fault Performance Management using EM Stool. FTP of CDR to the Mediation Server and generating Filtration Scripts for Billing. Loop – Break Testing with Circle Team Check the Alarm and Troubleshoot the Problem. Docket booking for the Alarms observed. Daily Routine Work Such as Health Check Up of SS & MGW, Alarm Monitoring and

Proper Escalation within SLA, Alarm Resolution, Taking Traffic Traces, QoS Report, etc.

Taking immediate corrective action to minimize network down time in case of any network and equipment fault affecting the speech, circuits and/or Signalling links
