Algebra 2 Zero Hour Elective Class Taken concurrently with Geometry Students would have TWO daily assignments
(there is time between zero hour and first period to work on one of the assignments)
Students must have their own transportation Class meets daily from 7:30 – 8:45 a.m. Taking Algebra 2 in junior high allows students
to more easily access the advanced math classes offered at Chandler high schools.

FAQ’s Will my child have classes with students outside the
CATS program? Will my child meet new students in jr. high CATS or
be with the same group they have been with in elementary?
How much homework is there in 7/8 CATS? Lunch? Are there sports offered at SJHS? Are all students eligible for Algebra 2, and will it be
awarded high school credit? How does CATS help my child transition into honors
and AP courses in high school? What clubs are available that my child might enjoy?
