Call for Application for Sub-Committee Position: SAPSF Project Coordinator

The Presidential Committee of the South African Pharmaceutical Students Federation

have found a need within the committee for a position to be taken up by a qualifiedperson.

This position will be a sub-committee position and does not entitle such person to thepowers and duties of the Presidential Committee. Such person, if successful shall beliable to only fulfil said duties as outlined in this memorandum.

The SAPSF has embarked on many campaigns and will embark on more as a means of

being an active National body. This has left a much needed gap within the Federationand requires a responsible person to consolidate all projects and/or initiatives for thecontinuation of the Federation.

Such applicants shall either be a male or female from a respective member branch ofthe Federation. They should have good administration skills, be diligent, show a passionfor this position and their work within the Federation. They must uphold the name of theFederation at all times and not be party to any branch politics.

The decision will be taken up as per voting rules within the constitution, however it willbe limited to the Presidential Committee who will cast ballots electronically after a period

of decision regarding worthy applicants of no more than one (1) week after the closingdate of said position.

The President shall have a casting vote only and the decision shall be final. Thesuccessful applicant shall be notified within three (3) days of the voting process and theballots will be made public.

All applicants should realise that all applications for the position shall be a publicdocument and be under the scrutiny of the Presidential Committee of the Federation.

Applications are to be sent to the General Secretary of the Federation by Friday 04November 2011 no later than 12:00pm (GMT+2). Late applications will not beconsidered.

Duties and Responsibilities of said position:

SAPSF Project Coordinator

To act as SAPSF Project Coordinator, his/her duties will include the following:

a) To work under the guidance of the Vice-President of the Federationb) To coordinate all projects between SAPSF and branchesc) To maintain the integrity of all SAPSF projects/initiativesd) To ensure the successful running of all projects/initiativese) To communicate with the IPSF SEO/CP with regards to IPSF project

implementation

f) To liaise between the Presidential Committee and the Executive Committee ofthe SAPSF

g) To assist in conjunction with relative portfolios for financing of campaigns ifneeded
