For more than 15 years from the day of establishment in 2002, Sarens Nass Middle East has been delivering comprehensive and effective long-term and short-term Heavy Lift and Shift services to leading clients like BAPCO, ARAMCO and ALBA by leveraging global expertise and local knowledge, to become the Industry leading reference.

Our objective was and remains, to focus on safety, quality and reliability with respect to our operations, employees, equipment, and our environment, assuring our customers, Services of International Standards.

We have started small, with 15 used units of cranes but we had a big dream; we wanted to be reckoned as one of the market leaders regionally, and the join venture with the Belgium based company Sarens NV; the heavy solution providers in more than 63 countries, helped us achieve that.

We are now an ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 accredited company, we have a proven track record for the successful completion of projects across a wide range of sectors, including oil & gas, infrastructure, petrochemical, shutdown and turn-around, maintenance, power, water, and general construction.

With more than 750 professionals, our expert crane operators and support technicians have been trained and are certified by the world-renowned accreditation bodies, which qualify them to work in any major project in the region.

And as part of our constant quest for growth and expansion, we have started the all-new “Alternative Products Division in 2016, which allows us be a ‘single-source-supplier’ to all our customers. Be it access equipment, material handling requirements, mobile lighting equipment, portable welding generators or Air Compressors, we now have a versatile and economical solution for our customers’ project requirements.

Today, and after bunking extensive market studies, we have expanded our operations beyond Bahrain, such as Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.

As we look to the next 15 years, our goal is to expand to new markets, such as UAE, Iraq, Syria and Yemen, after further extensive Market studies and evaluation of rising projects.

Established in 2002, Sarens Nass Middle East (SNME) is a Joint Venture between the Belgium-based Sarens NV and Bahrain-based NASS The Group. The Company has remained at the forefront of industry innovation, successfully adapting to meet the dynamic requirements of Heavy Lift, Shift & Alternative Products services.

Over the years, we have gained high-credibility and earned a leading position among the prominent players in the industry by maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and professional standards.

An ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 accredited company, time and again SNME has a proven track record for the successful completion of projects across a wide range of sectors, including oil & gas, infrastructure, petrochemical, shut-down and turn-around, maintenance, power, water, and general construction. SNME boasts a project portfolio consisting of landmark developments throughout the Middle East and beyond.

SNME operates about 400 hydraulic and crawler cranes with up to 750-ton capacity, over 200 access platforms up to 43 meters, and backed by Sarens ultra-heavy lift cranes and hydraulic modular trailers, enabling us to provide comprehensive service solutions to our valued local and international customers.

SNME employs a dedicated team of more than 750 professionals.

Our expert crane operators and support technicians have been trained and are certified by the world-renowned accreditation bodies, which qualify them to work in any major project in the region.

We also invest heavily in international quality Training and Development by nurturing a corporate culture that supports our employees to reach their full potential.

Keeping in line with our vision to emerge as leaders, we have tied strong business affiliations with NASS The Group’s branches which include Abdulla Nass & Partners Co. (ANPC) in Saudi Arabia, Nass Group LLC in the Sultanate of Oman and Al Ghanim Nass General Trading and Contracting Co. in the State of Kuwait.

As part of our constant quest for growth and expansion, SNME has started an all-new “Alternative Products Division” to be a ‘single-source-supplier’ to all our customers. Be it access equipment thru’ boom lifts or scissor lifts, material handling requirements thru’ Forklifts or stackers, mobile lighting equipment, portable welding generators or Air Compressors, we at SNME will have a versatile and economical solution for our customers’ project requirements.

Engineering Solutions Beyond Expectations Having a well-established engineering department with the latest software, modern hardwares, a well-trained team of field engineers, execution crew and draftsmen, enables us to deliver engineered solutions to every unique requirement of lift, shift and access projects for our customers.

Maintenance FacilityWe assure exceptional service of international standards, thanks to our highly advanced in-house maintenance department. Our expert maintenance crew is capable of handling onsite and offsite repair and maintenance of the entire fleet. We provide immediate response in case of emergency repair through a 24/7 customer service centre. The cornerstone of the reliability of our machines is highly credited to the preventative maintenance program carried out on each unit.

SNME aims to become the “Single-Source-Supplier” by providing sustainable, reliable and tailored lift, shift and access solutions for the Oil & Gas industry. We engage with Oil and Gas Industry through Long and Short form contracts direct with End Customers as well serve EPC, Contracting and Sub-Contracting companies for Green Field/Brown Field Projects of Oil and Gas Segments.

2. Shutdown / Turnaround

Shutdown/ Turnaround are complex activities that entail not just the technical/ engineering challenges, but also tight schedules needed to guarantee plant production continuity as far as possible. We are recognised as the best provider of cranes and equipment services that fully understand customers’ needs to minimize production loss, by adopting all necessary SHEQ criteria.

3. Infrastructure (Railways, Roads, Highways, Airport, Bridges, etc…)

Since its inception, SNME has been involved in many complex new-built infrastructure projects, providing equipment for assembly work and installation of complex structures, bridge movements, event stadiums, and industrial buildings.

4. Petrochemical

SNME engineering, project and sales teams comprehend today’s high standards in the petrochemical industry. Safety is the utmost goal, our specialised teams focus on providing engineering solutions for heavy lift, shift and access requirement of Petrochemical Industry.

5. Power and Water

SNME provides module handling and specialised lifting services, inland transport services, heavy lifting and installation works on power and water project sites and yards. The services include on-site management and engineering services related to all lifting requirements.

6. Drilling (Rigging, Rig Transport)

Our 24/7 personal commitment to Oil and Gas Drilling industry needs to include not only transport services, but include specialized lifting procedures and ODC haulage during rig move. Our team’s knowledge, expertise of Drilling and Rigging domain, capability to provide services at remote well sites all over the region is unique offering to most of our regional and international clientele.

Products & ServicesCrane Rental Division

SNME operates about 400 hydraulic and crawler cranes up to 750 tons. Customers benefit the advantage of our expertise at their job site, which includes; total lifting solutions provided by the most qualified, trained and certified operators and rigging crew.

Crane type include:

• Mobile Hydraulic Cranes – All Terrain / Rough Terrain (50 to 500 ton) • Crawler Cranes (80 to 750 ton)

Designing Engineered Lifts

From a basic 2D lifting drawing to entire 3D animated operation sequences, our engineering department is supported by cutting-edge modern technology. Our team of experts, onsite and back office engineer, and advance IT infrastructure, allow us to provide specialised lifting and equipment solution to our diverse projects and customers.

Trailers & Transport Management

SNME owns up to 200 units of trucks, trailers (flatbed/ low-bed/ kneel-down) and hydraulic axle lines to provide flexibility of choice for all our customers.

Alternative Products DivisonsSNME owns a fleet of over 200 Access Equipment, certified & maintained to the highest standards. To handle men and material at varying heights in difficult project environments, SNME has a fleet of reliable, safe and durable Access Platforms with working heights varying from 20 m to 43 m in Articulated & Telescopic Boom configurations.

These aerial lifts, scissor lifts and boom trucks add efficiency and flexibility to any job site as they can be safely driven at full working heights by trained operators.Whether it is indoor or outdoor applications, Rough Terrain or finished flooring usage, these diesel powered, self-propelled Lift Platforms are capable of reaching up, over and above restrictions to handle access jobs.

SNME Alternative Equipment will also include Lighting Towers, Welding Generators & Diesel Forklifts in the very near future.
