ARENA SUBCOMMITTEE REPORT RECOMMENDATIONSSavannah Arena
• Develop transportation infrastructure and signage that facilitates commercial, office, and residential development.
• Ensure primary roads servicing the district are widened to support business development (Gwinnett Avenue and Stiles Avenue).
• Develop the district as a “destination” for out-of-town visitors and locals.
• Support other developments to establish and 18-hour a day 7-day a week activity center
• Coordinate the development of event specific routes with Chatham Area Transit
• The development of a Greenway along the Springfield Canal.
