Acid rain - rain mixed with acids formed by gases released into the atmosphere when fossilfuels are burned.

Air pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into Earth's atmosphere, causing disease, death to humans, damage to other living organisms such as food crops, or the natural or built environment.

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans and groundwater).

Soil pollution is caused by the presence of human-made chemicals or other alteration in the natural soil environment. It is typically caused by industrial activity, agricultural chemicals, or improper disposal of waste.

Translate these phrases into Russian:

Cars burn petrol. – Машины вырабатывают топливо.

Power stations emit toxic fumes. – Электростанции осуществляют токсичные выбросы.

This pollution is gathered in the clouds.–
