OUR WEDNESDAY EVENING PROGRAMS AND SUPPER ARE SUSPENDED FOR THE SUMMER. The Ignite Student Ministry and Praise Team rehearsals will continue.

SAVE THE DATE: August 21st Fellowship & Covered dish at the Keys at 6 p.m.

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY: The WMU’s annual Baby Shower for CARE House & Pregnancy Care Center will be held on Tuesday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the FLB. All women and girls of the church are invited to attend. We will begin with a covered dish meal. Drinks and desserts will be provided. A representative for CARE House will be joining us to present a short talk on the services they provide. CARE House is a part of the Baptist Children’s Home system. The donations will be divided between the 2 programs. A list of needed items is posted on the bulletin board in the Education Building. Contact Linda Robinette if you have any questions.

MISSIONS RALLY: Baptists on Mission will hold a regional missions rally on Monday, Aug. 12th at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 301 N. Post Rd. Shelby NC 28152. Supper will be served at 5:50 p.m. and the program will be from 6:50 to 8:30 p.m. There is no charge for the meal, but reservations must be made by Aug. 5th. There will be worship, testimonies, videos, & information on mission opportunities. This rally is for all men, women, & youth. If you are interested in attending, contact Linda Robinette.

FAITHJAM: FaithJam will resume Wednesday night activities on 9-4-19. We will have a kickoff for the year on Saturday, 9-14-19. Please watch our Facebook page for details!

STAFF MEETING: There will be a staff meeting today right after the worship service.

YOUTH SUNDAY: Next Sunday, Aug. 18th will be Youth Sunday. Holly and the MGBC youth will provide us with our morning worship service. Please attend and show support for Holly and our youth.

NOTE: Please let the church office know if you or someone you know needs help with lawn care or other small projects. Members of the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department are donating their time to help those in need in our community.
