It has been a pleasure to work with sale hosts, Jim & Bev Freed, Steven & Jerrell Crow Family and the Todd & Amada Brady Family and the other consignors. We have worked to continue to offer you a quality, reliable & practical set of Shorthorn & ShorthornPlus cattle. It is our goal to continue to improve our breeding programs to provide genetics that will work for you, our valued customers.2017/2018 have been both challenging and at the same time rewarding to all of us in the beef complex. Tough winter weather and uncertain markets though the fall, winter and early spring. A very promising feeder cattle market surfaced at the summer video sales, has brought us renewed optimism for purebred breeder, commercial cow/calf producers and cattle feeder alike. The export market and strong domestic beef sales point to solid profitability opportunities for all of us in through the fall & winter. Semen Tested – Excellent; Breeding Soundness Exam – Excellent.This red polled bull is a modern shorthorn bull. Frame score of six, with tremendous muscle, big foot and bone. He is perfectly fitted to turn out with the herd this fall. He is not too fat and has been brought along with a roughage-based diet to allow his natural genetic ability to shine. He was a calf on a pair of cattle that we purchased from our friends the Alden’s. We planned to use him in heavy service this fall but his mother has provided us with another red, polled, bull from Route 66 which we will use as 66’s replacement. He has excellent EPD’s.
