The Cadoret bronze hoard is the largest collection of Bronze Age artefacts ever found in the island. It consists of 178 pieces of broken weapons, tools, ornaments and casting debris. The fact that many of the objects in the hoard had been deliberately broken into small manageable pieces suggests that it was a typical founder's hoard - a bronze smith had probably collected the pieces for re-use but it is unknown why he failed to return to its hiding place.

Rare Neolithic polished jadeite stone axe.

Axe-head made about 4,500 years ago of Jadeite from the Alps of Northern Italy. One of the finest of its type ever found in the British Isles. Its craftsmanship and high polish may mean that it was a purely ceremonial piece.

La Hougue Bie Museum holds in its collection an important lithic assemblage associated with this site. They are part of the Watson collection of artefacts collected some time around the 1920s and consist of flint cores and worked flints, mainly scrapers. They date to the Neolithic or Bronze Age period.

These flints are a clear indication that the area was in use around 6,000 years ago and was possibly a habitation site. The flint tools are an indication that there is important in-situ remains still buried below the surface.
