PURPOSES TO SCHOOL MAGAZINES
• To give advice to sixth form students on A-levels and managing study
• To give advice to year 10 and 11 students on GCSEs and revision
• To convince parents the school is good and will meet the child/s needs
• Showing diversity in the school and the emphasising the strongest points of it to convince older students to join the sixth form
• To inform the way in which people can get into a school and what courses are provided
• Advice on what options to take for year 9s and 11s for the next year
Similar to a music magazine, except if aimed at students, giving the fun side to school and advice and if aimed at parents, making the school look professional and positive for their
children as well as guidance.
Including the following is essential to any magazine in order to be aesthetically pleasing and clear to understanding the content:
