1. Review: Focus on Health & Wellness• December 10, 2019: The Board of Trustees
reviewed research and information on school start times as it related to our current bell schedules, and requested additional information and possible options regarding future bell times that are later for our middle and high school students.
• June 9, 2020: The Board of Trustees provided direction to move forward with the draft school start time options for possible later start times for most students and the proposed stakeholder engagement process for the 2022-2023 School Year.

• Include three-year cost estimate of each option
• Include logistical impacts
• Provide Board of Trustees with a proposed process to engage stakeholders if they choose to look at possibly changing future schedules
• Consider implementation for the 2021-2022 or the 2022-2023 school year

• Committee wanted to give the Board of Trustees as many feasible options as possible.
• All current options have MS starting no earlier than 8:00 am & HS starting no earlier than 8:30 am –However, the MS & HS start times could be switched on any of the schedules with minimal impact.
• Costs range from neutral to $1,558,000.
• Additional bus drivers required range from 0 to 32.

athletes
