DIVISION ORIENTATION ON THE DEVELOPMENT

FOR SECOND QUARTER CONTEXTUALIZED LESSON PLANS (DLPs) IN ALL LEARNING AREAS FOR GRADES 1-10

LRMDS Program Development Officer Elementary/ Secondary/ Senior High School Heads Elementary/ Secondary/ Senior High Teachers 1. In line with Regional Memorandum No. 1 s, 2019, this Office through the Curriculum Implementation Division will conduct an orientation of all key teachers identified as Writers, QA Validators and Illustrators who will be involved in the development of contextualized lesson plans for the second quarterin all learning areas and grade level assigned for SDO Sorsogon. 2. Considering the large number of participants, the orientation will be divided into two groups. Group A (Filipino, English, Values Ed, Kinder and *Math) will be scheduled on June 17. 2019 at 8:00 o’clock in the morning. Group B (TLE, Aralin Pan., *Science and MAPEH) is scheduled in the afternoon of June 17, 2019. Venue for the orientation is SDO Conference Hall, Sorsogon City. Math and Science group will not be joining the orientation since they are done with their DLPs up to the fourth quarter.

3. The orientation shall be done in plenary while planning workshop shall be by learning area to be facilitated by the Education Program Supervisors through breakout sessions.

4. Attached to this memorandum is the list of Writer, QA Validators and Illustrators in all learning areas and the Indicative Timetable for the development of the DLPs for second quarters in all learning areas.

5. All Education Program Supervisors in charge of the different learning areas are enjoined to provide the Education Program Supervisor in charge of LRMDS soft copies of their DLPs and softcopy of the Third Party Materials Inventory prior to submission to the RO.

6. Travel expenses and other incidental expenses related to this activity shall be charged against local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

7. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
