Our 2015 Art Sale was fantastic! A special thank you goes out to those who donated the art, who purchased the art, and who helped make it happen. We can't thank you enough. Several people have said it was just a wonderful event that brought the community together - that was nice to hear. !Besides being a fun event, it was really successful. The event generated sufficient funds to build a whole new school AND the doll

makers, artiZana, reached their goal of selling enough dolls to fund the building of a whole school - just from the sales of the beautiful Mali spirit dolls they have made! That is truly fantastic. In summary, as a result of the event, Schools3 will be able to build two new schools - our 70th and 71st. These schools are public schools, which are in villages that have never had a school. They may have as many as 150 students in each (the villagers send their girls as well as the boys to school - in Mali it is almost a 50-50 split between boys and girls). We will let you know where the schools will be built, and how construction progresses. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

! !!!artiZana, the group who made and sold dolls and have generated funds to build a whole school, are doing even more. On May 1 and 2 they are having an exhibit and sale of new, eye catching, one-of-a-kind dolls, made by many artists, which will benefit Schools3. It will take place on Friday, May 1 (5-8), and Saturday May 2 (11-3) St. Dunstan's Church, Brock Hall 28005 Robinson Canyon Road Carmel Valley !In 2014 Schools3 finished building 5 schools in Mali, one school in Senegal, one school in Malawi, and two schools in Honduras.
