Students will participate in career development exercises and hands-on STEM activities as they interact with professionals in the fields. Information on the Associate in Science in Engineering Technology Program at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will be presented. This event is free and limited to the first 12 applicants (upcoming 9th and 10th grade young women). *Interested students should have a grade B or higher in mathematics and science courses and be interested in pursuing a “STEM” related degree at SCF. Personal interviews are mandatory and will be conducted at North Sarasota Library, 2801 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota, on Tuesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 10, from 4-7 p.m. Information about the interviews will be sent via text and email.
