SCORPION AIR CHANNELSCORPION CREATES DyNAMIC VENTILATION!Tested in a wind-tunnel, the streamlined design of Scorpion helmets appears to be the work of the wind itself! And this is not only an impression! In addition to the aerodynamics achieved in the IndyCar wind tunnel of Dan Gurney’s All American Racers, the ventilation system of the Street and Off-road ranges is an integral part of your Scorpion, right from the design stage, for maximum effi ciency. Several adjustable intake vents in the front propel the fresh air through channels moulded inside the internal EPS foam liner, in order to dissipate immediately the heat accumulated in the textile, as well as on to the faceshield to prevent the formation of condensation. Each air intake vent is matched with its own exit vent, creating a dynamic circulation, which not only avoids turbulence at high speed, but also constantly regenerates the air. To achieve that, advanced air outlets in the rear spoiler and on the sides expel the heated air outside your Scorpion, while contributing to the optimum fi t of the helmet on your head, and reducing parasitic noise.
