Project Scope: SAP 6.4 Final testing, Cut-over, Go-live and Post Go-live support with Quality Management module in SAP assisting in the roll-out of a Global template. Included SAP QM functionality in Receiving Inspection, Inspection in Production, Long-term Inspections and Customer Returns.

Specific Role : Responsible for assisting in all issues that had arisen during Integration testing in order to prepare the client for cut-over prior to go-live. This was a migration from a LIMS system so it was primarily focused on Master Data issues but also involved some process issues which needed to be thought through and resolved in order to avoid customization which could not have been performed in time to implement a successful go-live. Post go-live was dedicated to resolving day-to-day minor issues (lot cancellations, missing lots etc..) as well as working with the Brazilian team preparing for their go-live in June of that year. I was brought in at the last moment as a result of the client losing their dedicated QM resources(both consulting and client side) The result was an effective go-live and rapid problem resolution. The client was able to back-fill their position and go forward after I completed the knowledge transfer.

In this role, I guided the team through QM training, Blueprint, Realization and Demo of the concepts of concern for Quality Management (Primarily support of field Inspections, Receiving Inspection and MRB), The net result of the CRP was a green light and funding of a project to implement the functionality. The balance of my activity with this client was working with the team at large to establish proposed project timelines, resource requirements and all of the details necessary to establish the framework of the project.

Specific Role : Served as the QM Module team lead working with 8 members of the Noramco team. This team represented the Micro lab as well as the Receiving and Production Inspection groups.In this role, I was involved with the team through throughout Blueprint, Realization, Final Prep, Cut-over , Go-live and Post Go-live support for Quality Management (They implemented Receiving Inspection, Inspection in Production, Finished Goods Inspection, Customer Returns Inspection and Stock Transfer Inspection(MRB and Stock re-inspect), They also had a requirement for active ingredient and batch management so I led the team in mitigating issues surrounding the documenting of that process and melding the master data and functionality into supporting said process. The client also relied heavily on Certificates of Analysis so I was involved in producing the necessary modification of the layout sets and certificate profiles to successfully implement this functionality. The overall result was a successful go-live and subsequent Post go-live support.

Specific Role : Served as the QM Module team lead working with a core team of client SAP Quality Management members from multiple locations in the United States and around the world in support of Realization, Final prep and Go-live for Kimball’s Poznan, Poland operation.

This role primarily was dedicated to resolving on-going delta issues between the Global template and the Polish operations processes and making sure the Global template for QM was adhered to as closely as possible. During final-prep and cut-over the tasks were surrounding data cleansing, validation and working in Poland to resolve any issues. Go-live was dedicated to providing on the floor issue resolution.

As such, I led the team member along with several French team members in numerous workshops to determine the actual requirements and to closely document the gaps and existing functionality to be used during the Realization phase.

The team successfully documented all known requirements, noted the gaps and proposed potential solutions to be examined during Realization.

During the course of the work I determined that the bulk of the requirement was actually in the realm of PM functionality - thus saving the client additional funds and effort in the QM area.

I guided the team in aligning their processes with the Global template for Quality Management from their headquarters in Melsungen, Germany. Once this was achieved the team traveled to Germany for a workshop and during Blueprint also conducted a workshop for the other North American facilities in Puerto Rico, Texas and California. I led the team through resolving all the deltas surrounding the variety of process differences and established effective cross-site coordination to finalize the functionality to be implemented. Completed all necessary configuration within Realization and supported all cycles of testing. Carried out a successful Go-live and Post Go-live support.

I used basic ASAP methodology to establish all the specific requirements(created all workshop materials, conducted workshops and provided all follow – up. Configured the system, provided regression testing and supported subsequent go-live support.

Specific Role : I served as the QM Module team lead working with a number of QM leads throughout two full phase go-lives for Kimball in Jasper, Indiana and Auburn, Indiana. This was the result of Kimball having lost their expertise shortly after their first go-live. Consequently, I led two separate teams through Blueprint, Realization, Final Prep and Go-live as well as post go-live support. This included Configuration, Heavy customization involving writing multiple functional specifications and working closely with Quality Engineering and ABAPers to get the necessary functionality completed on-time.
