Investment and Growth Opportunities

Page 2: Scotty's Brewhouse Investment and Growth Opportunities

Opened in 1996, the first Scotty’s Brewhouse signified the realization of a lifelong dream for Scott Wise, Owner and CEO.

As a 22 year old restaurant and craft beer enthusiast, Wise converted a well known Ball State University pub into an

upscale bar and restaurant with a focus on creating a warm industrial atmosphere, delivering an exceptional customer

experience and serving world-class American comfort food. Scotty’s Brewhouse soon expanded it’s footprint into other

central Indiana college towns. The focus on high-quality food, craft beer and extraordinary service effectively bridged

the gap between the quality expectations of alumni and the exciting, sports-minded atmosphere that captured the attention of students. As Wise grew up, so did the restaurant,

spreading into the suburbs with a focus on combining a high energy sports bar and a family friendly environment in order to accommodate the restaurant’s expanding demographic.

Scotty’s Brewhouse has created a unique environment where guests are invited to enjoy a beautiful evening on the patio, a great craft beer, tonight’s big game or just the company of

their friends and families amongst the brick walls and gas lanterns. Founded on the simple principles of good food, good brew and good people, Scotty’s Brewhouse has established

a reputation for consistently delivering the best of all three.

COMFORT FOOD WITH A TWIST

Our menu is an eclectic mix of specialty burgers and wraps, unique appetizers and delicious hand crafted desserts. We pride ourselves on sourcing the very best ingredients to highlight our new original recipes and bring out the flavor and excitement in old classics. Utilizing many local vendors who produce quality cheeses, meats and breads affords us the ability to exceed the quality expectations of even our most refined guests.

• In 2014, we launched our newest menu featuring over 40 Brewhouse Original recipe items and a host of our favorite classic dishes. From the signature Dill Chips, a scratch-made, fried dill pickle chip served with horseradish, to our house favorite original Shewman Burger, complete with peanut butter and jalapeños, our menu has something for everyone.

• While we love being creative in the kitchen, Scotty’s Brewhouse can also serve the traditional pre-game fare like none other. Classic dishes like buffalo wings in our signature sauces, waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, sour cream and bacon or the Macho Nachos with our brew-homemade guacamole are game day favorites, no matter what the season.

• Scotty’s Brewhouse also prides itself on accommodating the growing Gluten-Free and Low Calorie demands of our customer base, providing over a dozen specialty items in both categories.

DRINK LOCALLYWith a name like Scotty’s Brewhouse, there is one thing that’s for sure - we have a fanatical passion for craft beer. Although in 1996, when the first restaurant opened and there was no brewing to be seen, the restaurant boasted a diverse selection of draft and bottled brews. Our largest restaurant has as many as 32 rotating taps that feature seasonal beers, national sellers and local favorites. Providing people with the opportunity and experience of sampling different types of beers and finding their new favorite pushed Scotty’s Brewhouse to open its own craft brew-ery in January of 2011, Thr3e Wise Men. At All Scotty’s Brewhouse locations we offer seven consistent Thr3e Wise Men Beers: Snow Bunny Blonde, Two Lucys Blackberry Wheat, Bulldog Brown, Hubbard & Cravens Porter, Rocky Ripple Pale Ale, Golden Zoe IPA and Centennial Martyr Double IPA. Our guests can enjoy a pint in our restaurants or the can grab a carryout growler. This is one of our unique, difference-making niche points: we brew at one location and ship all our beer to all of our restaurants, giving us the ability to serve carryout growlers of beer. No other bars or restaurants can do this unless they are affiliated with a brewery. It also creates a unique branding opportunity within the restaurant to order one of our own specialty made craft beers. And, of course, our costs on our own production make this a very profitable opportunity. Thr3e Wise Men, our brewery label, also produces 1-2 seasonal beers each quarter, including the award winning Antonius Oktoberfest and Two Sisters Carolina Saison. Scotty’s Brewhouse associates are provided with extensive beer knowledge so that they are able to help guide our guests to the right beer style for them. Relying on their per-sonal tasting experiences in the taproom, our staff is confident in their suggestions and our guests get just what they came for, a great brew.

GOOD OL’FASHIONED FUNScotty’s Brewhouse strives to be our customers’ first choice to dine in all of

the markets we serve. Focusing on providing a combination of high energy

technology and a variety of seating options, Scotty’s Brewhouse is able to cater

to the needs of a wide ranging demographic. Whether you are hosting a large

office party in a private meeting space, coming in for a relaxed dinner with

your family at one of our cozy, high-backed booths or meeting some friends

for happy hour at our communal bar tables, our team at Scotty’s Brewhouse

is engaging, knowledgeable and, most importantly, focused on creating the

best possible guest experience. Take a look around the restaurant. We are

fanatical about the small things that have remained consistent throughout the

growth of the company: exposed brick walls, flickering original gas lanterns,

beautifully polished wood bars and photos that remind us of great things past.

This is the superb attention to detail that sets us apart from our competition.

We take great pride in being known as the restaurant that cares and listens

to its guests by providing convenient access on the guest check where they

can give us feedback. Our General Managers and Operating Partners respond

directly to every guest comment, proving that our goal is not to just meet, but

exceed the expectations of our guests every time they visit. The visibility of our

company culture is evident in the care we take to make our guests part of our

family each time they come into the restaurant.

EXPERIENCED SUPPORT TEAMBehind every great restaurant is a….. team of people in suits? No! At Scotty’s Brewhouse, we provide a support team with years of industry experience inside the restaurant’s four walls. Over half of our support team has grown up with the Scotty’s Brewhouse family from the early years and gained not only the experience, but the passion that comes along with being a part of the ultimate goal: delivering our brand to more guests. The other members of our team are restaurant industry veterans, coming from some of the most successful chains in the United States. This winning combination allows us to provide exceptional programs, products and operational support to all Scotty’s Brewhouse locations.

Our Operations Team provides ground level support for management and employees alike, coaching new managers and grooming our staff to become managers for the future. Our support team consists of: CEO/Owner, Chief Operating Officer, President of Operations, Director of Beverage and Hospitality, Director of IT, Director of Training, Kitchen Training Coordinator, Director of Marketing, System Support Specialists, Executive Administrator, Director of Human Resources, Staff Accountant, and VP of Finance.
