Sculptures by George Foster

The following numbered polished bronze and silver sculptures areexact enlargements from actual exotic insect specimens. These are

signed by the artist George Foster who has cast them in his fine artfoundry using the “lost wax” process.

Numbers correspond to catalogue photographs. Measurements are tothe nearest 1/2 inch or centimeter. The bronzes are, unless otherwiserequested, surface treated with a thin protective coating to preventtarnishing and to preserve the original look of freshly polished metal.

This intact collection is intended for acquisition by a museum, university,or a company which might enjoy the prestige of showcasing a uniquebridge between the natural sciences and fine art traditions.
