As a tribute to the Solidarity, Nationalism and Courage of the Filipino people that resulted to a land-slide victory of now

President-elect Rodrigo Roa Duterte; the Rodrigo Duterte for President volunteer groups from different sectors

organized a People’s Victory Concert with Maharlikang Balangay as event coordinator being sponsored by Energy World

Corporation Limited (EWC) thru the kindness of its Chairman, Managing Director and CEO Mr. Stewart W.G. Elliot thru

PDP-LABAN Quezon Chapter President Eduardo T. Rodriguez.

It’s an event meant for the people, a people’s victory for winning the seat to presidency by Duterte. It was participated

by supporters from different parts of the country including Indigenous People to celebrate.

Over 3,000 families and street children were fed during the event and treated VIP’s coupled with Jolibee’s most

celebrated foods – chicken joy, burger, spaghetti, burger steak, etc. and Jolibee mascot appearance who rendered its

joyous dance tricks and photo opps. Old, young, male and female wowed this magical moment… for once in their lives,

these street children and members of their families were treated humanely without any bargaining from their end.

Historically, street children were treated fairly because they need to be pulled-out from the street of Metro Manila due

some important international figure will visit the country and their presence considered as sore to the eyes. For the first

time, they claimed that yes! We belong!

As part of the organizing committee, we were overwhelmed just by seeing them all joyous. You can clearly sense a

different level of pride being a Filipino that has contributed and has been a part of a good deed. It’s undeniable. The

master of ceremony thanked the EWC dozens times on stage and Gov. Eddie. He probably felt the same atmosphere.

Earlier at around three o’clock in the afternoon the participants, beneficiaries and guests started to arrive. While

waiting, organizers open the ice cream carts for free! Plus, lots of Pinoy fiesta foods.

Our group belongs to the early bird - former Gov. Eddie T. Rodriguez President of PDP-Laban Quezon and Secretary-

General Ms. Fatima R. Abuy, Eddie Rodroguez Jr. fellow leaders, associates and co-supporters; Mr. Steve Esteban co- in-

charge. Event Chair Committee is Dr. Heal Dineros from the National Capital Region. Since they came early they had the

chance to check everything and took upon the chance to socialize with other leaders coming from different provinces.

At around 5PM venue were slowly being filled and areas already secured being manned by local PNP police and security

guards hired by the organizers, paramedics were also visible, the national television networks and members of media,

drone cameras, the performing artists we hired to entertain and the orchestra who performed numbers of songs . They

were the ones who actually opened the event rendering the national anthem. Once again, you felt the unity of the

people in silence… hoping to achieved what has been promised by DU30 administration... hoping that this time, this

time, there shouldn’t be any betrayals…of the people, by the people…

There were raffles drawn and five (5) winners received FREE Android Phone and ONE SIM LOADS ALL E-

Loading Business.

The celebration went on with the rest of the performing artists while the heaven seems toying us. At one point it seems

it will rain heavily, but it’s not. Everyone’s practically thankful with EWC who made it possible.

In conclusion, event was a success. Attached herewith are some photo clips during the event and links for reference.
