CHAPTER ONE

Ah, peace at last...

Windy took her brush and started to mix the colors. She took a deep breath and started brushing thecoven when all of a sudden.

Trank!

"You are so DEAD Rose!" Shouting and cursing could be heard coming from the first floor. Windy letout a deep sigh. She had unintentionally crossed the line of her own painting. Now, she needed tocover up the mistake. She shook her head. 'Why can't they just be peaceful for one afternoon?'

Windy put her brush back to its rightful place and left the roof balcony. It would be useless to continuepainting when she couldn't even concentrate. She walked down stair to see the chaos that had beenmade or was being made. The third and second floor looks as it was. No turn down furniture, nothingthrown out of the window, and no signs of anyone running around. She then walked down to the firstfloor from the main stair.

"Ah, hello Windy. Care to join me for some tea? They are still warm". Windy looked to the Galleryroom which is across the living room. There sat a deep blue ocean-haired girl with deep blue eyes.She smiled and held a cup of tea to Windy direction.

Windy smiled and went down to sit with her. Unfortunately...

"Waaaaaaa!" and came the loud "Ugh!" Windy was taken aback by her sudden fall. She got up andwince at the slight pain on her back.

"Ah yes, I forgot to tell you one of the stair is now broken. Thanks to Cecilia who had threw thepantry's chair at it just a while ago" she said casually while sipping on her tea like it was a normalthing around. Which it was.

"Gee Rayfi, thanks for the warning". Windy sat down across Rayfi on the cream-colored sofa. Her backstill hurt a little from her fall.

"You are mostly welcome Windy. Here you go". Rayfi smiled and gave a cup of tea to Windy. Windytook it and sipped it slowly.

"Jasmine?" Windy asked as she put down the tea back on the coffee table.

"Why, yes. Unfortunately I run out of the usual one" Rayfi took another sipped and finally put downthe empty cup. "I was going to buy some supplies but, things happened during the afternoon. Do younot agree, Windy?"

Windy sighed. She knew exactly what Rayfi was referring to. "Yeah, sometimes they could go a bit too

far". Rayfi nodded her agreement and poured herself another cup of tea. She motioned for Windy'scup, but the girl shook her head. "No thanks. Not a real fan of Jasmine". Rayfi nodded once again andput the teapot down on the coffee table. She begin sipping her tea when Windy asked

"So, Rayfi you usually drink your tea outside on the balcony. Why the sudden change of place?" Rayfialmost choked her tea. She put the cup down and stared at Windy in disbelieve. But, then she realizedthat Windy just sat with her a couple of minutes ago.

"Ah, the backyard and the rest of it are... Well, let's just pray Rose and Cecilia won't have to getyelled at by a certain dark-haired, dark purple-eyed woman". Rayfi took another sip and pouredanother cup but realized there were no more. She stood up from her sitting position and took the teaset.

"Hm... Maybe I should just go shopping... I do not like to leave Rose and Cecilia together, they mightdestroy the house! But, I really hate leaving the kitchen with nothing but coffee."

Before she left she turned to Windy. "Well? Are you going to come with me to do some grocery or areyou going to check out the result of the hurricane at the backyard?" Rayfi motion the back doubleglass door which lead to the backyard. Windy considered her option when sounds of pots breaking washeard coming from the backyard. She stood instantly. "I'm coming with you". Rayfi smiled and theywent to the pantry and then went out for some grocery.

"So, what's with the frown, Marinda?"

Two girls walked out from their school. One was a brunette with long wavy hair and wore blue sky-

colored uniform with some orange bracelets dangling around her not so tanned wrist.

While the other was a black-haired girl with chestnut-colored eyes and wearing the school's uniform.

The brunette, Marinda, let out a deep sigh.

"It doesn't matter... I'm just tired that's all"

The black-haired girl raised an eyebrow. "Really? I bet it's because of that gossips lingering around theschool, right?"

Marinda walked a little faster. "No, it's not about that, Rose. I've just told you I'm tired that's all"

Violet matched Marinda's steps. "Yeah, right! The last time I checked you were at the library doingnothing"

Miranda stopped walking instantly and sighed. "It's not important, Hoshi... just let it go"

Rose snorted and walked in front of her friend. "That ain't hay."

"Seriously Hoshi, let it go and for the record, don't use ain't because it really doesn't suit you"

"Well, I think it's pretty important for you to clear out your name, Miranda. I heard the teachers haveears"

Miranda pushed Hoshi out of her way and began walking to the nearest bus stops. "Don't worry aboutmy name it'll stay clear"

Hoshi trailed behind her. "You sure about that? I mean, those three will surely come up withsomething else more... y'know". Miranda sighed and kept silent. "As your friend I think it's normal ofme to worry, Miranda"

Miranda stopped walking.

"I know... and because you're my friend I expect you to respect something that I have chosen not totalk about" and with that she walked again leaving Violet to follow behind.

"What The Hell Happened?!"

Hoshi peeked out of the turn down sofa in the living room. She has fair skin and a shoulder-lengthhair. Her eyes were the colour of dark sand in the beach.

"Em... Hey, Bianca" she greeted the voice's owner, who was standing with lips a part just a little.

The dark-purple haired girl in her twenties snapped her head toward the black-haired girl. She hadjust arrived from work and was greeted with a sight she never liked, a wrecked house.

"Hoshi, did you...?"

"WOW! Hang on there!" Hoshi stood from her place and held out her hands. "For your information,just like you, when Miranda and I came home the house is already a mess, and I think you alreadyknown who is, or should I say are, behind this mess."

Bianca cursed under her breath. "Where are they?"

"Well, the last time I saw them they were in the kitchen but, I think I heard some noises coming fromthe second floor." She said motioning to the stairs, which lead to the second floor.

Bianca marched up the stairs passed Hoshi while cursing and saying something which involved kickingsomeone out.. Hoshi watched as Bianca walked up the stair, and sighed. She hoped no one have tosleep outside tonight.

"Well, this wasn't unexpected, right?"

Rayfi passed the plate to Miranda. The five of them were having dinner in the dining room which islocated behind the grand stairs and next to the double glass doors which lead to the backyard and theswimming pool.

"I guess so..." Hoshi poured herself a glass of water. "But, it is uncommon."

Windy nodded her head. "Definitely new."

"Well, maybe Bianca wants to try new ways. I mean all her method never seemed to work before."Said Miranda taking the plate from Rayfi while muttering a thank you.

"That is also what worried me. Bian's method never worked before, why is this any different?" saidHoshi.

"Even though it won't make them stop from destroying the house in the future." Bianca said, sippingher wine while looking to the backyard through the double glass doors. "But, I think they won't bemessing around in the backyard for a while, and beside I don't even have to be the one shoutingorders now."

Everyone in the room looked toward the backyard.

"Well, come on! Those plants are dying! Get to it you two! Faster! They need those pots!" Violet wasshouting orders to the two prisoners.

"Well, one thing I'm sure of is they won't go near anymore plants and pots." Miranda said.

"Or near Violet for that matter." Said Windy, smiling.

"CECILIA! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DROP THAT! ROSE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE GLUING THATPOT NOT THROWS IT!"

"Lesson of the day, don't mess with Violet's garden." Said Rayfi while chuckling and turning back to

eat. The others laugh and went back to eating. It was just another normal day for the girls of SeasonsMansion.
