Last Sunday we had Sam Meldon, Executive Director of Food For Thought with us. Food For Thought is one of our ministry partners whose mission is to feed the hungry in the Toledo region. They have a food pantry in Oregon at New Harvest Church, a mobile pantry that serves many locations throughout the region and giving sack lunches to homeless downtown every Saturday. We have partnered with Food For Thought in a variety of ways: giving the produce from our garden to their pantry, staffing their pantry every Thursday evening, our kids decorate the bags they use for their sack lunches, along with many of our people helping to prepare the lunches on Friday nights and deliver them on Saturdays. As part of having Sam with us, we collected food and hygiene products for their pantry. We collected 114 grocery bags last Sunday and delivered them on Monday! Thanks so much for your generosity, I love the heart we have for others.

Watch the website nazarenemissions.org/pray2013 for more information and regular prayer points.

Dear Hope Community Church Family, thank you so much for the beautiful flowers that were at my dad’s memorial. Your thoughtfulness meant so much to our family. Thank you also for your thoughts and prayers. They have meant so very much during this difficult time. Love, Shannon & Elizabeth Gibson
