For example, the use of simplistic language will not be effective for a professional audience, while academic language will not be suitable for audiences that are not college-educated.

What is the average length of time the audience has been with the organization? This information will help determine the degree to which the curriculum content must address organizational policies, procedures, and general aspects of the organizational culture.

What is the audience level of familiarity with the subject matter? This information will help determine how much subject-matter background and fundamental information will be required in the curriculum content. This will allow for the presentation of fresh and interesting content for a specific audience.
