Floating markets offer fascinating cultural experiences as well as

glimpses into the local way of life of a bygone era. Damnoen Saduak,

the biggest and most popular of all floating markets, caters mainly to

foreign visitors and is still a must-see, while smaller markets, such

as Tha Kha and Ampawa, offer more local flavours. If you like outdoor

markets and street-side shopping, you will definitely enjoy a day out

at one of the floating markets surrounding Bangkok.

“Prisnav”Prisnav - the 40-year old elephant. She works hard and she has 2 babies. She’s really smart and knows

how to impress her passengers.

“Riding an elephant is a great experience. You’ll feel every step it makes and the exciting plunge it does. “

Looking at the pictures, it’s amazing how she can walk on this narrow path without walking over the

grass.

strolling around Bang Pa-In Summer Palace.the whole place is i think thrice bigger the size of malacañang palace. you need a golf cart to travel

to one building to another. well you can also walk around if you please (that’s losing an extra pound

anyways). the palace is very well kept and preserved; never fails to attract tourists.

Today the palace is used occasionally by Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and Queen

Sirikit as a residence and for holding receptions and banquets.

Phra Thinang Wehart ChamrunThis Chinese-style two-storey mansion is really captivating. It’s a palace of romance, with ornamented

tiled floors, massive ebony furniture, gold, silver and porcelain freely used for decorative purposes, and

delicate fretwork on the columns and on the windows.

Buddha Image at Wat Mahathat 2011 Breathtaking ruins. The place was founded

by King Ramathibodi I in 1350. Ayutthaya was

the capital of the country until its destruction

by the Burmese army in 1767.

It was said that the place was built by slaves, forced to work using their own bare hands in building this

such great sight.

Indestructible Ayutthaya.
