St. Ann Parish Mission Statement We are called by a loving God
to make St. Ann of Lansing a Catholic community of faith.
We are a family of diverse people with various ministries:
healing the body and spirit, teaching of God and His love,
united in sacraments and prayer, reaching out to the extended community.
With God’s revelation of Himself in Scripture as our guide,
we strive to grow in His Spirit and to fulfill the promise of Christ’s Kingdom.

a tree planted beside the waters (Jeremiah 17:5-8).

Please spend some time this week reflecting on the An-
nual Catholic Appeal brochure that you received with
your bulletin. The Annual Catholic Appeal is much dif-
ferent than a one-time special collection. It is a
pledged campaign commitment where you can make a
gift payable in installments. A pledge is a promise to
make a gift over a span of time.
Each pledge makes a difference because all parishes par-
ticipate in the campaign, and the gifts of many enable our
Archdiocese to deliver needed ministries and services to
answer Jesus’ call to “Come, Follow Me…and share the
Word.”
Once we reach our parish goal of $34,265 in paid pledg-
es, 100% of any additional funds come back to St. Ann
to help fund our needs.
If you received your pledge form in the mail, please com-
plete it and mail it back or bring it to Mass next weekend.
For those of you who did not receive a mailing or have
not had time to respond, we will conduct our in-pew
pledge process at all Masses next weekend.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration and generous
response.
We would like to thank you for participating in the parish
census. This information is necessary to make sure St.
Ann has the most complete and accurate information to
contact our parishioners when necessary.
As we mentioned in December, an audit of this data has
not been completed in many years, so this is very overdue
for St. Ann's.
The in-pew collection of your information was the first
step in this process. The task of reaching out to those who
were not in Church will be our next focus.
If you are reading this and did not fill out a census form,
please fill out a card (located in the Narthex) or contact the
parish office and give them your updated information. As
we begin to determine which families are still with us, or
may have left St. Ann's, we will give another update on
this process to keep you informed.
