The Christchurch City Chorus is a large group of female singers from age 10 to retired who love to sing acapella/barbershop, four-part unaccompanied music. The Chorus is available for hire for corporate or community events, weddings, funerals and themed performances in small or large group sizes. You can see the Christchurch City Chorus singing at malls at Christmas and at shows around Canterbury. They also compete as part of the Sweet Adelines International competitions. The chorus is ranked 7th in the world, rehearses at Cashmere High School on Wednesday nights and welcomes new members at any time.
