Graphic Communications majors at Clemson University are known for their practical, hands-on backgrounds. These students take technical course work that covers all areas of production in all the major printing processes. They also take a variety of other courses such as packaging, business, management, marketing, and computer science, in order to become a well-rounded candidate for employment. In addition to their diverse coursework, they complete a minimum of two internships in the industry.
The Department of Graphic Communications has a group of talented graduates at each of the University’s three annual commencements in May, August and December.

I work with marketing and development to design wireframes and prototypes that can be viewed by the two groups, then I develop the prototypes into the software using front end coding skills. Work produced from this job requires a CJIS level 4 to view sensitive information. Clemson University TAGA / VP/ President August 2017 – present, Clemson (SC) As the Vice President of TAGA (Technical Association of the Graphic Arts) (from 2017- 2018). I oversaw the production of over 80 books produced entirely by Clemson students for the TAGA competition. Utilizing specific technologies available to Clemson. We created the contents of the book as well as all the packaging, binding, and covers that come with the book. As of August 2018, I have stepped into the role of president for the upcoming year. Cybergraphics / Pre-press Intern January 2017 – May 2017, Memphis (TN) Worked on designs sent in from external companies that needed flexographic printing. I Would take the company’s original design and make the Illustrator file ready for plate production and be printed. Also, I worked on special projects of creating an internal paperless workflow system for companies’ jobs that came through. Key Club Steilacoom / Vice President August 2013 – May 2014, Steilacoom (WA) Logged over 70+ community service hours in the town of Steilacoom and the surrounding areas. As Vice President I was in charge of managing high school students that showed up to Key Club sponsored events and ensuring their hours were logged for credit towards the organization.
