F irst Church of God is a growing church in the com-

munity. In addition to offering weekly services we

are proud of our community outreach programs for

seniors. We understand that many in our commu-

nity are aging and affect the well-being of us all. First Church

of God has been addressing the needs of the aging community

in service and action. The Church provides warm healthy

meals as well as food baskets to seniors in the greater Cen-

tral Ohio area. In addition to those services this year

First Church of God is honored to host a “Seniors

Convention” designed with seniors (50+++) in mind.

The theme for the convention is “Living in Fullness

in this Season” (L.I.F.T.S.). The convention will

kick-off September 18 with a banquet followed by

informational sessions throughout the day on

September 19 and is being held at

the Doubletree Hotel

located at 175 Hut-

chinson Avenue

in Columbus. Bishop and Mrs.

T he purpose of the convention is to provide midlife and

beyond informational workshops critical to the aging

community. Our goal is to educate, share resources and

engage with the delegates during two days of fun, food

and fellowship. Understanding that many seniors have

fixed incomes our goal is to defer the cost for the

conference allowing participation with minimal expense. To offer you a

tangible avenue to participate, First Church of God, invites you to get

involved by donating your gift by August 31, 2015 as a sponsor in the
