RECOVERY DOWN TO 10 MICRONS AND UNIT

CAPACITIES UP TO 100 t/h

Falcon C Concentrators are typically used in gravity

recovery applications that require a higher mass yield

to concentrate when compared with SB Concentrators.

Often utilized for the recovery of valuable fine particles

Falcon C Concentrators are capable of collecting finesmissed by dense medium separators, spirals or any

other low G processes.

Designed for continuous duty, these machines

are able to produce mass yields as high as 40%.

The primary objective of the Falcon ‘C’s is to

maximize recovery and reduce tonnage to

downstream processes. The technology is ideal for

scavenging or pre-concentrating applications as well

since no water is added during processing.

Reliable test work can lead you to the right

concentrator for your application. Sepro operates

laboratory facilities, which generate decisive data

for scale up to commercial operation.

COARSE AND FINE PRECIOUS METAL RECOVERY

Falcon SB Concentrators are known as “Semi-Batch”

because they continually accept feed during the run cycle,

but only produce concentrate during the periodic rinse

cycles. Run times span from five minutes to several hours,

depending on the application. Rinse times are generally les

than a minute as Falcon Concentrators utilize a dynamic

braking system to quickly slow the bowl down, rinse out

the concentrate, and then return to full operational speed

Equipped with a variable frequency drive, this gravity

concentrator can operate anywhere from 50 to 200 G’s.

The typical application for a Falcon SB Concentrator is

recovering liberated precious metals (Au, Ag, Pt, etc.) with

a grinding circuit. When installed in this type of circuit, Se

often recommends that the gravity concentrator be place

on cyclone feed, rather than cyclone underflow to generat

higher recoveries. Outside of grinding circuits, Falcon SBConcentrators are also used for precious metal separation

from aggregate or placer deposits. The target mineral will

usually be in extremely low concentration (grams per tonn

and a very high upgrade is desired (up to 10,000x).

Reliable test work can lead you to the right

concentrator for your application. Sepro operates

laboratory facilities, which generate decisive data

for scale up to commercial operation.

FORCES UP TO 600 G’S AND GRAVITY RECOVER

DOWN TO 3 MICRONS

Ultra fine mineral recovery has been an industry goal

for many years. With Falcon’s UF line of concentrators

there is now a way to economically recover and upgrad

particles as fine as three microns. The primary objective

of the Falcon UF concentrator is to scavenge ultra fineparticles that are typically rejected from plant processe

as slimes.

Using a variable lip controlled by air pressure the Falcon

UF Concentrator is extremely flexible, allowing for a wi

range in metallurgical operation from high recovery to

high upgrade. Rinse times are generally less than a minu

as Falcon equipment uses a variable frequency drive (VF

with a dynamic braking system to quickly slow the bow

down, rinse out the concentrate, and then return to fulloperational speed. Falcon UF Concentrators can operate

anywhere from 50 to 600 G’s. Operating in rougher-clean

or rougher-scavenger configurations, this concentrator

can provide an almost unlimited range of possibilities.

Reliable test work can lead you to the right

concentrator for your application. Sepro operates

laboratory facilities, which generate decisive data

for scale up to commercial operation.

MAKING IMPOSSIBLE SCREENING… POSSIBLE!

Sepro-Atalay VFE® SD Screening Machines are

designed for difficult wet, damp or dry screening

applications where a fine and accurate separation

is required from a single deck.

The proprietary Vibro-Flex Exciter mechanisms of

the Sepro-Atalay SD VFE Screening Machines absorb

the high frequency vibration from the low powered,

dual unbalanced electric motors and generate a

chaotic response across the entire screening surface,

promoting high particle acceleration and excellent

bed stratification. This response prevents the screening

media from pegging and blinding, common problems

when screening fine materials. The highly stratified

bed assures excellent screening efficiency at very

fine cut sizes.

Pilot scale VFE screens are also available for pilot

plant and laboratory use.

LOW CAPITAL COST AND

SHORT DELIVERY TIMES

Sepro Tyre Drive Agglomeration Drums are specifical

designed to prepare feeds with high fines content on Go

and Base Metal heap leaching operations. The action in

the Agglomeration Drum, combined with small addition

of cement or lime, binds the fines into an agglomeratedproduct. This product is then heaped and leached

without “pooling” and “channeling” caused by loss of

heap permeability. Complete with a variable frequency

drive (VFD) package, operators are able to fine tune the

operation of the Sepro Agglomerator based on the

application. No auxiliary drive is required to perform

maintenance. Sepro Agglomerator shells are manufacture

in one piece to high quality standards and are thermally

stress relieved to eliminate localized high stress areas.

The machine utilizes the Sepro Pneumatic Tyre Drive

System (PTD) which provides an alternative to standard

chain and gear drive systems. This system of rubber tyre

mounted on independent gear boxes provides excellent

serviceability and reliability, having been well proven in

numerous difficult applications. An instrumental feature

accompanying Sepro’s tyre driven equipment is the tyre

pressure monitoring system (TPMS) which comes

standard with each Sepro rotary control console.

THREE PRODUCTS FROM ONE DMS SEPARATOR

The dynamic, multi-stage Condor Dense Medium

Separator gives Sepro a leading position in advanced

Dense Medium Separation (DMS) technology. A minimum

of two separation stages are inherent in a Sepro Condor

DM Separator, resulting in high separation efficiency in

rougher/scavenger or rougher/cleaner DMS applications.

DMS is typically used in a pre-concentration duty prior to

processing or milling to reject barren material and reduce

downstream CAPEX and OPEX costs.

Sepro supplies customizable and transportable DMS Plants

for a wide variety of application requirements. Sepro’s

standard two product (concentrate, tailings) DMS Plant

utilizes a two stage Condor Separator and single density

medium circuit, while the three product (concentrate,

middlings, tailings) DMS Plant utilizes a three stage Condo

Separator and two medium circuits at high and low densit

The Condor Separator is simple and easy to feed, usually

by a conveyor belt or from a vibrating screen. Abrasive

or friable ore is not pumped resulting in reduced power

requirements, equipment (pump, DM separator, piping)

maintenance costs and reduced ore breakage and fines

generation. The compact Condor DM Separator makes

it possible to convert a conventional two product DMS

cyclone installation into a three product operation.
